So the takeaway from Revenant wasn't make better content or craftable weapons are why most of us play seasonal content but instead was go back to drip feed.
It isn't possible the folks in charge could be so ____ (many accurate words ought be used here but they are not very nice so I'll let y'all fill it in on your end).
Looks like another season of waiting to jump in on seasonal content until all the content is available, somewhat happy to not have any reason to dive in until everything can be done but that's honestly really bad for the game and player community, ahh well, there's plenty of raids and helping new folks to be done so there's that.
Another season of trash exotics after the banger that was choir is odd to me. From a dev standpoint i think i get it tryin to tool around with awful types and archetypes of weapons but man it comes at the expense of any interest by many of us to bother playing exploring or grinding for these items.
PS i have no idea if craftable seasonals is back or not, i just assume with such a blunder on content release only bad decisions are ahead for the entire season, of they are back, thank you smart person or people at Bungie who contributed to the realization that seasonal crafting is a really obvious and simple positive for the game. NONE of the handful of folks i play with that like grinding played more than with seasonal craftables available and most played less and some not at all and our clan missed then this last season.

It looks like they saw the terminally bad numbers this Episode, and took the message not that the majority of the playerbase has finally lost patience with the endless grinding for meagre loot, but that the player retention issue is that people are getting what they want too fast..... It seems Bungie leadership (not aiming this at the devs, this is a C-suite issue) has decided that being useless was not enough, they must be the example that goes down in the history books as the example of how not run a game company....

Изменено (Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds): 1/24/2025 11:33:57 PMAs it stands now, Heresy looks like it will be the first content drop in the game’s history that I don’t login on day one for. If the Heresy weapons are craftable, I’ll be there. If not, I only see myself wanting to chase like three of them just like Revenant. And even then, all those new playlist weapons seem lackluster save for one. I know some of them have redacted perks, but they have almost no existing sub synergy perks. Aside from the void heavy burst, which is the only one I see myself chasing but I don’t care too much for crucible so I can wait until act 3. I can’t believe that even after the disaster that is Revenant the future is still looking this bad as of now when it comes to new content rewards and how it drops.

Death to weapon crafting!

They call cutting access to void/arc/strand/stasis on Khepris Horn a glowup. Bungie is a malicious company that knows exactly how to pull everyone’s strings

People (like yourself) don't realize that ALL of TFS was developed during The Witch Queen. . I need the community to wrap their heads around ideology. . Because it explains everything that is currently wrong with the game. . The community opinions from Witch Queen almost perfectly align with the changes we've endured in TFS. . By community, I mean personalities & CCers who influence Bungie. . The changes took 2 years to implement because Lightfall was a finished product during WQ. It'd take another 2 years to recourse this nonsense. At that point this game is DED.

Can you imagine the sales numbers they are going to be looking at for the next year. I would guess that will be the wake up call
