Should Bungie revive Destiny 1 perks and let them roll in upcoming weapons?
Hi, it's me.
I've come with an idea. You read the title, you know what it is.
My inspiration for this is the realization that D2 players like me have never tasted the sweet glory of D1 things, so I think it's a good idea to incorporate some D1 things into D2. Is my idea actually good? Probably not. But that won't stop me.

Also, I've noticed that a lot of perks that we currently have aren't as viable overall, so I think those should be buffed too.

Problem is... What isn't already in D2 that wouldn't be broken in either activity, or just bad? Most of the D1 perks are here in some form or fashion (Spray and Play as Alloy Mag, Army of One being replaced by Wellspring, Counterbalance as a mod, Custom Optics being folded into Rangefinder). Only a few I can find that would bring anything new to the table. Wait For It (Empty reloads grant more mag size), I don't think Hot Swap is a thing beyond being part of Lucky Pants, maybe Replinish (Super casts refill mags). Everything else that's not mags or barrels from D1 is either hilariously bad, or been replaced (I.E. Crowd Control is now Rampage/Swash/KC/MKC, Hidden Hand is both what the Graviton Lance catalyst is called, and has been replaced by Iron Gaze).

1 ответNo. Leave old content in the old game. [b]Brand new[/b] perks, please. DSC and Season of the Chosen has proven that Bungie can make new perks worth using - Frenzy, Reconstruction, Recombination, Delayed Impression, One For All, etc.

Yeah why not ! There will be no D3 . Bungie has been bringing D1 content for a while so all or nothing I guess.
