Bring back Trial of the Nine weapons !
Just a quick thought from an active D2 player:
Well, the title itself tells everything. Trial of the Nine weapons are practically the only Year 1 weapons that's didn't get a comeback. Why?
>These weapons are esthetically amazing (they can even be raid weapons, it wouln't shock)
>The theme and strory of the Nine is awesome, we need more about it
>The weapons are already done, you just have to update them (and there are numerous of them!)
At the time they were dropping, I wasn't playing trials, and know I'm sad to see these amazing weapons loocked in the vault.
I don't understand why these weapons aren't dropping in the Prophecy dungeon (what's more the armor is dropping!).
The only reason I can imagine why these weapons aren't updated yet is because it is planned for a future season (season about the Nine).
I know that you don't have unlimited ressources and time Bungie, and that you already have many ideas you are working on: I totally understand that. But we can all say that it is a 100% win for both Bungie and the comunity to have Trials of the Nine weapons reintroduced in the game! Players need more weapons right now due to previous weapons sunsets.
(Sorry if they are mistakes in the text, I'm not from an english-speaking country, but I do my best ;) )

I'm 100% on board with this and, like everyone else in the reply section, I love the idea that they should drop from the Prophecy dungeon. That way, players who never had the opportunity to play Trials of the Nine - either due to not playing Destiny 2 Year 1 or because they couldn't play the mode itself - a chance to use these weapons, albeit with a different perk pool. Since they'd be exclusive to the dungeon, I think that would make them feel a lot more unique!

Great idea, i've always wanted these back aswell. The Prophecy Dungeon is still somewhat "new", Bungie could just make it so the loot gets a complete refresh. Replace all the existing armor (after obtaining once for transmog) with the Trials of the nine ornaments. Maybe on a weekly final chest lockout to collect all from one season. Then replace literally all the existing prophecy weapons with the Trials of the nine weapons, add the currently available Prophecy weapons to Banshee or whatever for people to get them for collections. I know the handful of players who actually played TotN in year 1 will want to gatekeep but lets be real, such few ppl played for these back then because of the state of the game, give those awesome creations some use so everyone can appreciate the amazing artstyle of those sets/guns.

5 отв.They should have been in the Prophecy Dungeon. Literally, inarguably, the defacto perfect setting and time to bring them back. What did they do? Here's a Veist SMG that people don't like because it's not Recluse, a Veist Sniper that nobody likes because Veist Snipers have more zoom than the Hubble Space Telescope, and some random Ikelos junk.

I'd be very surprised if they don't get added to Prophecy, makes total sense. Arguably more sense than having the ikelos weapons there now.

1 ответI still actively use my Long Walk sniper and Prophecy auto rifle i got from going flawless in year one. They’re still really good and fun to use. I don’t see anyone else use them sadly :(

they should put it into the prophecy dungeon since it would be fitting i actually hate pvp since i know and a lot of the community really hate pvp since it can never be fixed or put into a balanced state.

5 отв.It's been said a thousand times before but they really should have been added to the Prophecy loot pool by now. Hell, they could even just replace the weapons currently dropping from Prophecy entirely, none of them are particularly great.

Those are some of the greatest weapons of Y1, they should stay prestigious. Dropping them in a Dungeon feels kind of cheap. I mean, let's say that Bungie came out with a new Deep Stone Crypt themed PvP map (or mode/playlist), and if players got a win while playing on that map/mode/playlist, they had a good chance to get the Eyes Of Tomorrow, I can't even imagine the amount of outrage I'd see on these forums 😂

Add them to the prophecy dungeon. Add the trials of the nine armor ornaments as the final chest reward in the season before Witch Queen
