so my game has repeatedly crashed at the title screen since the migration from battlenet to steam back in 2019, always the same error "Problem reading game content". I have tried everything. - deleting the steamappid.txt file - reinstalling the game - reinstalling the game and reinstalling steam onto a different hard drive - changing the language - verifying the game files - deleting the cvars file - whitelisting destiny 2 on all firewalls and anti-malware software - changing video optimisations you name it, i've tried it. The ONLY piece of information i've been able to gather is from the crash_info text file produced when the game crashes. It seems the problem is that it has "failed to resolve unparsable config file 'Aux.PC_cvars.xml'". with Aux.PC being my username. I have been unable to find anything even remotely related to this online. Im running on an I5 , 1050ti and had zero issues before the move to steam. I attempted to play on stadia where i was able to play my characters that had been moved but issued a refund due to my internet connection not being viable enough to play.
