Destiny has always been a game that's ran superb for me ever since I built my PC a year ago. Especially while streaming off of the same rig I never encountered any performance issues. However since Beyond Light released and I updated my Nvidia drivers the game has run substantially worse than it did previously. There are no changes to my frames, but the game feels... choppy. When I look around there are small blips where I freeze. When I open my character menu my game will freeze for a number of seconds. This is all very new and NOT normal for my rig. It's even worse while I stream. My frames drop to single digits in OBS. Nothing has changed about my hardware, and everything worked completely fine before the new updates came out, and I don't have issues on other games. I've tried reinstalling all of my drivers, reinstalling the game, verifying the integrity of my game files, reinstalling windows, changing every possible setting in OBS, switching between SLOBS and OBS Studio, changing my video settings in game. I'm out of ideas at this point. Here are my PC specs: CPU: i9-9900K @3.6Ghz GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 2080 TI GAMING X TRIO Memory - 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro @ 3200Mhz Motherboard - ASUS Prime Z390-P Anyone have an idea of why my game runs terribly now? And why it runs even worse when I have OBS recording/streaming? Any ideas suggestions would be huge! I love streaming and playing this game! Would hate to lose that hobby.
