With the idea of sunsetting armor master working, armor seems to be a real dilemma. I want to master work armor to get the best builds in terms of stats. But now if I dismantle the armor because is sunsetting I won't be able to masterwork new armor because the exchange is not one to one. so my ascendant shard that has so few places to drop I can not recuperate. A solo player has a real hard time masterworking armor especially exotics. With sun setting already stating a good idea will be to allow the materials to return to our inventory if we dismantle armor. If I put in 6 prisms and 1 ascendant shard I will like to get it back to masterwork my armor replacement. I don't understand why the game has to be this stingy, with more loot locations and more ways to get materials I will play certain activities more. For example why cant high-level content like raids, dungeons, master nightmare hunts and other high-level activities reward more masterwork material so that I can have a lot of shiny armor. Other games do this to great effectiveness. I just grind level up and if something with higher power or better stats come along I can use the materials to become more powerful.
