Bungie, you should reprogram your peer-to-peer for beter connections. Do you even realize that in 2020 many of us have a Gigabit Fiber Optics with 6ms PING and 0 packet loss?
So our connections don't have to be compensated for bad connection players. The LAG compensation has to go.
The movement of those players is abnormal and they are very difficult to hit.
Plus there is too much frame loss in Destiny PvP.

That is the wonderful thing about Connection Based Match Making it makes sure you don't get laggers in your lobby. This is what all the higher skilled PVP players are telling me when I get my ass kicked in PVP.

Destiny's servers are...not good. I have a 1Gps connection and I get connection errors every now and then when I play the game. All the other multi-player games I play - no problem. People can come up with all sorts of possible technical explanations about why Destiny has connection problems but ultimately it comes down to that they are failing somewhere on their side, probably know why, but either don't have the resources or inclination to fix it. Just add this to the pile of things that Destiny players try to overcome to play the game, which they do with a rather odd and even somewhat admirable determination in the face of things that would probably break most online games. It's a tribute to the fact that despite all the nonsense Bungie serves up at times, the game is really quite engaging at its core. Maybe the new expansion can help scrape away the rust and finally let the game shine as it should. One hopes ; )

How many times have you headed for a corner while being shot, only to be killed AFTER you've rounded said corner?
-
Is kinda annoying to hit someone with a bomb and have it do nothing or your melee to go through them and in return have them one tap you with theirs. Paying $100 a month for high speed gaming internet just to have other people’s more crappy “ but understandable in some cases” internet

2+ party members are always laggy. The game probably feels real crispy to them. lol
-
You do know that lag compensation is so that the lower ping player gets advantage over a player with a high ping, right? Also your ping to your isp means nothing.
-
Your up/down and ping aren't the only things that effect networking issues. I've already told you this and you ignored it

Изменено (Darth Derrr (Defiled)): 10/25/2020 4:10:02 PMYes. Teleporting laggers are the worst...when I ever message them about how awful they make the game, it's always been them blaming my internet connection... So...if it is mine, don't let me into comp or pvp in general in the first place! And...I get that Bungie allows even people with awful connections to play. Mine shouldn't be awful so instead of silently failing to give me a good experience, don't let me play or give me an option not to based on a crappier than normal connection. Make it an option even...idk. Just care about the quality of the game

Spot on, I have video proof. It's pretty crazy that they haven't done something about it.
