Sony Destiny 1 DLC codes (HELP AND SUPPORT)

So I found the original PS3 Taken King Legendary Collection and PS4 Destiny The Collection physical copies at Walmart in the usual giant bin of games they have in all the Walmarts. I already own some of the old content from these games but was missing The Taken King (PS3) and Rise of Iron (PS4). That is $50 worth of content from PSN pricing as of today. Value pricing and such so I figured why not. I got home and I open them up and the codes are expired. I reached out to Sony through chat (their phone support is closed for COVID-19 reasons), and they told me this: "In this case you need to get in touch with the Publisher of the game to check if they can do something about this expired code, here's a link for you to contact Bungie https://www.bungie.net/en/Support/Index" I go to that web site address and I learn Bungie does not really have a "support" contact portal of any sort. So I am trying the forum here and I am hoping someone can tell me the proper channels of support I can use to try and get working DLC codes for the games I picked up. I have played a ton of Destiny 1/2 on all the systems, but the PS side was kind of lacking and I wanted to kick around with the older games before the new stuff hits next month. Can someone please enlighten me on how to properly reach out to Bungie about this? I am hoping they might options for me since Sony cannot do anything with codes for their service, on their network, and their online store (yes, you can feel the sarcasm can't you?). Thank you!

Unfortunately, you'll want to request a refund for Walmart; as the games were used, the codes were either used or expired; there are no more physical copies of those games that have working codes. Sony will not replace the expired codes, thus why they told you to speak to Bungie. Bungie doesn't have anything to do with those codes (they were created, handled, and had their expiration date set by Sony), and at the time Destiny 1 came out and was produced, Activision was the production company, not Bungie; Bungie was just the developers. Even with that, the codes worked when they were put into the box and from the point they were sold to retailers, it was even out of Activision's hands. The retailer owned the copy from that point and were in control over its sale, including dealing with defective products due to codes missing/not working. It's unfortunate that the retailer didn't inform you that you were buying just the base Destiny game on disc and the codes wouldn't work. The only way to get the DLC now on Playstation is to purchase it from the Sony Playstation Store.
