Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a weird situation. Up till now I've been playing Destiny 2 via cross save on my XBone, and that cross save account originated on my brother's PS4. Now that I have disposable income I've pre-ordered the PS5 and am planning on playing Destiny 2 there with some of my friends who are also switching and to make new ones in the PS community. However if I use my bro's PSN on that PS5 then I won't be able to play video games at the same time as him due to Sony not letting one PSN be used on two PS4s at once. That's fine, I've been meaning to make my own PSN for a while anyway. Only issue being that since my bro's PSN is the account that has my characters then I have to use that account. I haven't done it myself yet but according to the Internet if I disable cross save then all the accounts get back the characters they had right before cross save was enabled, or lack thereof in my case since I think I only played for a few days with a new guardian on my XBone pre-cross save. Long story short is there any way to transfer the cross save account to a different platform and transfer the characters on that account as well? Because if there's a way to do that then all I would have to do is transfer to my Xbox, disable cross-save, unlink my old psn, and then re-enable cross save from my Xbox after 90 days (which is fine) and start playing on my PS5, right? But is that even possible? Sorry for the long winded explanation, I tend to overexplain lol.
