Snipers are way too strong for this mode yet. In d1 pulses and scouts were strong enough to compensate that. In d2 they arent that good compared to snipers. It would just be a sniper camping fest. "Oh you found a spike ? Or an interceptor ? Trying to have fun ? Get 3 or 4 sniper shots from the opposite team.

Destiny PvP is at it's best when it's less constrained and hardcore. Combined Arms was a strong place for this.

If Bungie is deleting something in the way of 6-7 Crucible playlists and 11 Crucible maps, there isn’t a goddamn chance in hell theyre going to integrate double/triple sized maps to make Combined Arms. Hell, we can probably kiss any chance of getting something like Rift back along with that.

It's the only mode where ALL weapon types, including scout rifles, are viable. Definitely the big team battle mode of Destiny

6v6 Spawn heavy like during Warmind Wide open maps, with some assorted close quarters zones 5 control points spread non-linearly (so one central point, and 1 in each "corner" of the map) Spawn Pikes, Heavy Pikes, Interceptors, Turrets, with the following unique spawns based on planet: - Scorn Pikes for Tangled Shore/Dreaming City - Enhanced Interceptors on Cabal Maps - Rasputin Heavy Frame summons on Rasputin Maps - The Bulldozer from that one titan mission, on a titan/hive map Spawn 1 Drake in a central location at the 2/3rds mark of the game, either score or time, whichever comes first. Furthermore, have a separate 7v1 gamemode on the same maps, where the 1 always spawns in a Drake, and whoever kills the Drake gets to take it over.

Increase the count to 12v12 and reduce a ton of special ammo in the game so people don’t sit in the back all game sniping and camping. Imagine a mode like rush in destiny? That would be really fun

The only issue is that most of our destiny vehicles handle like tractors, and the only ones that don't are sparrows which have no offensive capability other than ramming. They need to refine those so we get the Vehicular combat and Halo-ish PvP that at the end of the day, is what we all want out of Combined Arms.

Forget combined arms. I'd love to have big team battles or huge free for alls. Minimum 24 player count maps. Sparrows. Pikes. Heavy pikes. Drake tanks. Cabal interceptors and more!

I have hated and will always hate competitive game modes that have vehicles unless they are Battle Royales.
