Goodbye Destiny

Ok guys so you might not agree with this but that's not what I'm asking I just wanted to get this out there because I think alot of players could have thought the same thing at one point. So I have been playing destiny since year one. I even was part of a fire team that completed the very first raid the first week (throwback to VoG). I pre-ordered destiny two and played it up until forsaken. I thought the dlc price was too high so I stopped plus I no longer had a raid group / people to play with. Now my friends have "downloaded" the game for free because it is now free to play. Okay great I logged on to play with them and bungie wants me to give them another 50 dollars for dlc... Why? My friends just got the game for free and figured buying the dlc was like buying the game for sale. So new players are playing for 50 bucks. And loyal destiny players are spending more than double. I get the whole argument for prices going down on games but then shouldn't the dlc be cheap as well considering the arrival of beyond light? Anyway all things considered I downloaded and deleted a 100 GB game in a day. Thanks for the good times bungie but this just doesn't seem fair to me. TLDR New players pay 50 for all dlc Loyal players pay 110 for the same content I get that games go down in price... But don't reward new players for hopping on board late when I've been grinding since the start.
