No, you get bonus super duration when more allies are behind you while you are blocking with bannershield. What I'm asking them to do, is retune that ability to grant more energy when only 2 players are behind your shield, but at the same time decrease it at a higher number of players to have it match the current maximum duration it can last. I want bannershield to be a bit more useful in modes like grandmaster nightfalls or dungeons but it's mainly tuned for 6 man teams due to the extra duration it gets and I want them to adjust that.

That's what I meant. You get more super duration instead of how firing line gets more damage. I see how it would work for the three man team, but instead of changing the super itself how about this? The tuning that you're asking for could be a catalyst they could put on the Ursa Furiosa exotic arms. That would give more people a reason to use Ursa as well as making it an option, not a requirement for runs.

I think giving each exotic a greater purpose is a fine idea, but who knows how long it would take for them to even release something like that. Retuning the energy for the super is something they could do in a patch a month or so from today or in 2 weeks if they were fast about it. A catalyst would probably take another full year if were lucky.

Maybe, maybe not. We don't know and that's half the problem. The time to code a new catalyst from scratch might be the same amount of time needed to change the basis of how a super works. Since we don't get to talk to the people who actually do the coding, we'll never know.
