Cabbage error code repeatedly

Hi, I have a Technicolour router (TG582n) and cannot get more than 15 - 20 minutes on ANYTHING within Destiny 2 before I get a CABBAGE error message and return to orbit. Currently I'm spending most of the time just dropping into a location and wandering around (as a result I'm at light level 900 (which, all things considered, isn't too shabby)... But would quite like to achieve SOMETHING a tad higher than that, now). I'm no way going to attempt crucible and risk being labelled as a rage quitter because there's an issue SOMEWHERE that kicks me off (I might not be the best, but I'm not a quitter). I've looked on many forum articles about this message and have done as much as has been suggested by some very knowledgeable folk... I've changed PnP settings, created a new firewall, attempted to sort the ports (command isn't working (doesn't recognise the ports specified for unbinding)), disabled the extended security... But to no avail. The errors keep coming as regularly as ever. I'm pretty much only playing Destiny 2 whenever I CAN get on Xbox, so am pretty frustrated with all this (I haven't even been able to complete the initial campaign story... Yeah, it's THAT bad). #Bungie ... PLEASE help. I used to have a BT provided router at a previous address and never had these issues with that. I've plodded and struggled on for as long as I can... But I've REALLY had enough now... So... Is it a Technicolor router issue and am I best off investing in a new decent router? If so, any decent suggestions (England based user, here)? Is the issue at Bungie's end? Is there anything that can be done to stop me going insane? Any help gratefully received... I just want game security and integrity and NOT just be on edge waiting to be booted to orbit... I know it's coming when the enemies just all dry up and I'm a lone figure wandering around whichever location I'm at, thinking "I should've seen something/someone else by now... Ah poop!!!" Help.... Me...!!!!

 •
I have a Technicolour router (TG582n)
This is your issue, nothing else, if you only see CABBAGE. These routers are not built to industry specs and steal a port for their own use that Destiny requires. It usually cannot be reassigned, so you can't even adjust it in the regular router settings. Your best options, unless you want to try and play around with the engineering as suggested in some of the linked articles from BNGHelp, are: - ask the provider to swap that router out for a completely different brand. Most reputable providers carry more than one brand. - ask the provider if they have a firmware update from the Technicolor manufacturer, that will address the issue. I heard last year that a Belgium provider had found such a patch, but I don't know anything past that. - Try contacting Technicolor yourself, for the same reason - getting a firmware update to fix the locked port issue. - look for a provider that doesn't use Technicolor or Tompson routers
