After playing for 5 years, I can confidently say that this is the far worse it's ever been. For 5 years shotguns have run rampant requiring the skill ceiling to be absolutely negligible, toned down once in that Twinkie nerf that did absolutely nothing imo, range and impact still massively high, 1hk ranges asinine. On top of it they're farmable, want a god roll drb, go do Menagerie, want a mindbenders just run an 8 min strike, all you need is 63 range on it for gods sake. Forget perks on it even lmao they're just the icing on the cake. Erentil and wizened rebuke killing at pulse/scout ranges, absolutely zero counterplay anymore. It's just stale and so brain dead that it's hard to even have a session anymore. NF nerf did nothing, spare rations everywhere. Sure I can hop on with revoker or beloved, hope I get a pick or 2 with the 2 bullets I'm yielded, or I can get 2 in a shotgun pretty much guarantee myself some more special ammo and snowball with a point and click weapon. HANDHELD SUPERNOVA, I don't even need to explain all the things wrong with it. OEM/striker/burning meme still ludicrous. I love bungie, I love this game. Halo 3 was the game that spawned a decade of fps gameplay. I hate having to post this stuff but at this point idk what else to do. I'm scared this game is going to come to a close before it should have. It's almost as if there is no play testing or thought into how things might impact the sandbox. Changes that no one asked for, tracking emblems, titles, these things have spawned a cesspool of an environment and if you disagree well you must just be tuning it out and throwing money at the screen. I'm not the greatest crucible player by any means, but comparing this to d1 is night and day, my play has drastically worsened. It is very oppressive in most even quick play lobbies nowadays. D1 Gamertag: vxAmaterasu for anyone who feels inclined. I know I'm going to get "git gud scrub" or "stop crying" but that just literally backs my point so please comments like that are welcomed. Bungie I love you, but please, for the love of everything on Gods green earth, and the literal mental status of fatigued players out there (myself lol) MAKE CHANGES. It's getting out of hand and I truly didn't think it could get worse. Thanks for reading, just don't want to lose what has been the best game I've ever experienced from one of my favorite developers 💜
