As a player getting back into D2 in year 3, I was very upset that the Undying Seal disappeared on me after the season when I had completed 99% of it. I had carefully looked through things to make sure that with my limited time to play, I could get through everything marked as "Available only during Season 8." The only thing I had missing was (part of) the quest for Randy's Throwing Knife. This quest was explicitly mentioned as one that was not going away at the end of the season. Similarly, the related Badge on the Collections screen and associated Triumph under the Seal both did not contain the "Available only during Season 8." text so I had assumed that these could be completed after the season ended since I had completed all the seasonal content (like Vex Offensive). If this is Bungie's intent, they should stick the "Available only during Season #." text on all these things that are going away (they're currently not on the Season 9 equivalents). I finally unlocked Randy's today, and the badge under Collections is showing again. It also showed that I unlocked the Triumph but I cannot claim it anywhere. I think it needs to be fixed so either 1. The badge, seal, and all triumphs under it are marked as "Available only during Season #.", and completed Triumphs that can no longer be claimed do not appear on screen after completion, or 2. There should be a way for me to claim the Triumph and Seal (similar to how the Collections Badge appeared after I finally had everything). Further complicating this issue (at least during Undying) is that (year 2) Annual Pass items still appeared in all the places after they had ended. "Season of Opulence" items still around made it seem like the new seasons would be after they ended too. Really happy with the game and this season so far, but this issue almost caused me to quit (didn't help my computer died the last week of Undying). I'm sure other new players could be equally frustrated to start something and have it torn away from them without warning. It seems strange to have the warning on some items and not others when all of them disappear.
