Cut the Eververse and the tri-month releases, focus on real quality content.

I remember when there was a time, back in Destiny 1 and around The Taken King era, were Bungie added the April Update. So, for people who don't know or don't remember: • The Taken King (Forsaken-sized expansion) was released in September 2015 • The April Update (Huge QoL and some improvements to other activities) released in April 2016. There was an 8 month difference between content drops, and when the April Update launched, it helped the game so much, it revived a forgotten activity, the Prison of Elders and the Reef, added a new Strike, new armor sets, a few new weapons, made something with Trials of Osiris, changed the Sandbox. The April Update was huge and great and like I said, it was released 8 months after a huge expansion, and yet it brought a lot of people back and kept a lot of people invested in the new changes for quite sometime. And then came Rise of Iron, who released September 2016, 5 months after April Update. Rise of Iron was a great expansion too, interesting theme and story, it brought a new social space, brand new cool strikes, new Iron Banner experience and weapons, new PvP maps, new Exotics and everything you expect from an expansion. But it also brought Strike Scoring, added to Trials of Osiris once again, and not to mention The Dawning 2016. The best Dawning event in my opinion, it brought 2 exotics and it wasn't monetized heavily like recent events in D2. It was a nice and fun Christmas event and you could feel it, there was no greed or other scheme behind it and that's why I remember Christmas 2016 so fondly. Now, where do I want to get with this? Bungie, we don't need title drops each and every 3 months introducing new Horde modes (which are getting boring and stale honestly). We want real quality content, think of the April Update, think of Rise of Iron. Hell, think of Age of Triumph!! the single handedly best free Update in Destiny's history, even Solstice of Heroes 2018 was great. Improve on your game, don't just add extra stuff on top if everything. Imagine a tower made of dirty dishes, now let's add more dirty dishes on top of it, yes the tower gets higher but it's made of dirty dishes that haven't been washed in a long time. That's what Destiny 2 is right now, you've added dishes and dishes and yes some of them are cleaner than others (Season of Opulence) but stop, take your time and star washing the dishes before adding new ones, and you'll see for yourself how this game improves for the better.
