When you look at ROI on what it offered knowing a small team that created it as many used as an argument in D1 on why they couldn't do certain things even Bungie? As I said to someone else, Shadow Keep doesn't add up knowing Bungie has 800 to a 1000 employees and 2 other studios working with them.
Factions should have been back a while ago and most everything in the game should have been updated, yet a small team was able to do that in D1 but Bungie and 2 other studios aren't able to???

D1 didn't have seasons between Ttk and ROI. Meaning way less playable content. Shadowkeep has just as much, if not more to offer. Another exotic quest is dropping today I think and next week the dungeon. They are similar in price so the content would be similar in size. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE WORKED ON IT. I would take a dungeon over a vendor refresh and return of factions. I personally am enjoying Shadow keep more than ROI and I havn't even set foot in the raid yet.

Kind of free. You needed to purchase Ttk. Although I don't know of anybody playing post TTK without buying ttk.

Yeah, it might be cool to check out the new dungeon but when an activity doesn't offer much other the just another area to run around in? It will become as dead as most of the content in this game actually is because this new Bungie doesn't want to keep certain things relevant. Mercury is a prime example of an area that is dead that no one has any reason to go there. What I'm referring to is how D1 had more replayable content because Bungie updated the existing content, vendors, IB, and Tess was no concern to anyone, not even Bungie. Can't say that now.

All armor from previous activities that are still playable will drop as 2.0. All gear can be infused to max light. Everything is still relevant. It took up until AOT in D1 for them to make everything relevant. Id have to disagree on the dungeon. Take all rewards out of the Shattered Throne and I still say its one of Bungie's greatest creations.... Ever. I am expecting greatness from this new one.

Why doesn't Blind Well have specific loot, Why wasn't EP updated with new gear/weapons? I can make a huge list that shows you are actually wrong about things being relevant. As of right now off the top of my head there is 49 set of gear missing from this game that D1 offered and some of it was removed from D2 like factions that gave 9 sets of gear and some weapons. Oh, and a year later IB didn't get any new weapons being this is a new DLC? I am expecting greatness from this new one.[/quote] Nothing wrong with disagreeing, but that is like me saying VoG is better than anything they created but it offered 3 times the amount of loot vs Shattered throne and that is a lot of the reason so many ran it because it gave that incentive to want to run it.

And what was the incentive to run VOG after yr 1 but before AOT? Or Crotas End, or prison of elders? Or anything that dropped yr1 gear. Put both games side by side after 2 years and D2 offers waaaaaaayyyyy more content. I would say d1 had more depth as far as loot goes. More perk combos on weapons made for a much deeper loot pool. You're too focused on what they havn't added. Btw those 49 sets of gear, those were mostly reskinned off reskins.

Oh, so you're trying to pinpoint, sorry that doesn't work. Bungie had the entire D1 and they let Luke that had no business being lead, lead D2 and as a result of it the base game and CoO came out literally a flop. Having more playable ground means absolutely nothing at all when a looter shooter doesn't have the loot to chase. We are basically running content for the sake of running content. This game can't even be called a looter shooter knowing the cosmetics are triple of what D1 offered in actual loot to chase. D2 is a bounty, RNG duplicate, reskinned over grind. They only added activities, barely anything else.
