This could be a universal body piece.
When you die, you explode with the equivalent of whatever grenade you have equipped.
For pvp, this could be a double edged sword to a degree which could make things really interesting. Grenades that explode right away could damage anybody, while the other grenades could only damage the opponents/enemies.

It should be like the Javelin glitch in Modern Warfare 2. That was hilarious.

*equips suppressor grenades, laughs in Titan*

You explode on death, but it consumes your greande energy

Изменено (NerdFame): 10/22/2019 2:26:33 AMSo what you're saying is that I can be an absolute troll and walk at a melee super to drop a suppressor grenade and let my one teammate not running away clean them up? I'm in

They had that in call of duty and it was lame there too.

What might be an interesting approach to how it works is let's say, within 1.5 seconds of being critically wounded you press the right and left thumbstick in. And if you die within 5 seconds of activating your exotic, then upon death you explode and drop the grenade.

The screams of the Titans apes would be without equal.

Having immediate grenade explosions sounds like it'd just be a crutch for people who lose melee fights, while also having griefing potential if the damage can spread to teammates (which seems to be the implication). I'd say have the explosion come with a delay so enemies can at least get back and reduce/avoid damage. That, and/or perhaps just make it a basic elemental explosion of your subclass type rather than an actual grenade type (we shouldn't encourage Titans suicide rushing Supers for instant suppression, Warlocks getting chain lightning explosions or mini-nova explosions, Hunters getting...whatever annoying grenade they have, etc). A martyrdom exotic seems interesting on paper, but it should be reasonable to fight against.

I feel like we should have exotic class items that give good bonuses, but not quite "exotic tier". Something like this would be what I have in mind. Just an extremely situational ability that will almost never help, but when it does, it'll be hilarious.

So like Krieg with his useless dynamite bundle in BL2?
