Imagine an activity like the Forges or Reckoning where at the start you can place or "bet" any weapon or armor piece of your choice.
If you fail the activity, the item is lost.
If you succeed, the item gets either rerolled (for items that are already legendary) or upgraded into a legendary gun with a set of legendary perks and the appropriate amount of slots. Oh, and all the stats, even the hidden ones, get little bumps too upon upgrading (the degree and extend of said bumps could be randomized).
I don't assume that this pitch goes anywhere but dreaming is nice.
Dude, imagine if we had this in d1, when the blues looked like exotics... Remember the golden ace of spades? That was nice...
-
Love to see the rage for a feature like that. People will start losing their stuff to connectivity issues, and Bungie wouldn't take that chance willingly.
-
Ok I first started by downvoting this because I was totally irritated thinking this was just some person crying over their bad RNG. Decided I should have the courtesy of at least reading what I’m down voting. After reading I immediately upvoted because this is actually a good idea.
-
Hell yeah, we've already got lootbox vending machines (vendors), let's pop gambling in here too!
-
That's actually one of the best ideas I've seen on this forum.
-
That’d be awesome considering the loot pool is mostly blues.
-
No exotics in blues That would better.
-
considering that most blues look better than legendaries Bump👍
-
How about we cut all the frilly bullshit and just put blackjack in the game so I can gamble like a man. Because that's all but gambling.
-
Tbh, I would love to turn the Khvostov into a Legendary. But, it should be through spending rare resources, not RNG.
-
I must say that this is an awesome idea, hopefully bungie look into this.
-
I've wanted another gun that you upgrade like Nechrochasm for a while. I'm still surprised they haven't done something like that again with weapons.
-
Ive said this forever. SHOULD be able to upgrade all the way to exotic!
-
Imagine a new planet to explore with a never seen before alien race to fight. Wouldn't that be cooler than the recycled snooze fest we have at present?
-
would be cool if: -you find a blue you like with perks you like. -take it to the gunsmith and pay legendary shards to make it upgradeable. -use the weapon, kill X amount of X enemy type, or kill X amount of guardians in the crucible. -once complete take weapon back to the gunsmith and choose which perk you want to add to the weapon using upgrade modules. perks like out law and range finder cost 3, perks like firmly planted cost 1.
-
Some of the blue armor looks pretty good, not going to lie. Only thing stopping me from using it is well... they're blue
Da ba dee
-
With crucible in this game it will never happen. The sandbox can't even handle this game as it is. That is not me ragging on Bungie, its just a basic fact.
-
Or make them as ornaments?
-
you mean like having a transmog system?
-
The Azimuth DSU is one of the coolest non exotic hand cannon in the game, IMO. Has huge impact (92), lots of range (66), high caliber rounds and kill clip... but you cant masterwork it and it only has 2 perks which is a bummer. Got one to drop at 950 and I use it. If only I could get one with outlaw......
-
I was prepared to downvote this after reading the title, but this is a good idea.
-
I feel like just making all gear “transmog ready” would both be a lot simpler, and a much easier way to customize the way your Guardian looks.
-
Agreed. While were at it, I want to be abke to upgrade any weapon from blue tier and down. Would really love to upgrade my khvostov to legendary with better stats in everything.
-
We had that in destiny 1 white to blue to purple I think skipped green lol and then to gold at the end .
-
Not really since you can get that specific archetype of weapon in a purple variant by a different name lol
-
Изменено (Swift): 10/21/2019 5:38:31 PMFull transomg for armor would be easiest. Hell, i'll take locked rolls on the blue weapons if i could just slap mods onto them.
