So I decided to start the solo comp grind, very excited that the new system will boost you to your appropriate rank. I load in, go up against a normal group, get a win and only get 80 glory. sort of odd when I had a 5.5 K/DA, so I think "Oh maybe it just takes a few games to adjust." My second game I go up against someone with 3K glory points... and I am baffled as to how I, a mere Guardian II, am going up against Fabled players. I shrug it off thinking mis-matches happen, maybe there's not enough people playing. WELL my third game rolls around, still solo queueing, and my opponent is at 4K glory... Mythic... this man is at Mythic and I am at Guardian II..... what? Okay, Okay maybe solo queue is bare bones, let me go play regular team comp... 5.3K.... I WENT UP AGAINST SOMEONE WITH 5,300 GLORY AND I AM AT GUARDIAN II. Listen, I don't care if the system thinks I should be up at Mythic, if it does it should boost me up there as they claimed the system did. It should NOT put me up against MYTHIC players while I am still at GUARDIAN II! How am I supposed to climb to Mythic if I am playing Mythic matches this low rank?! I'm not gunna climb at all, I'll be stuck at Guardian II forever! You wanna do placement matches and then put me up there fine, but to physically grind point by point up to Mythic while playing Mythic opponents is absolutely unfair and makes ZERO sense.
