They tricked you by doing exactly what they said they would?
-
Those strange symbols you see on the screen... Those are called words. You should've tried reading them before you transferred.
-
If only you informed yourself before doing the transfer, you wouldn't sound so dumb.
-
Bungie announced that before you could even transfer it, but it’s kind of stupid that they even did it.
-
😳😳😳
Do my previous game purchases transfer across platforms? No. The things you have purchased from your PC or Console stores will remain on the platforms where you bought them. These include games or balances of Silver. Cross-Save enables you to access the Guardians and Collections on one Active Account from wherever you play. The things that you acquire for your characters in the game are what move with you from one platform to another.
Cross-save

He wants Bungie to read his post but he didn't bother reading theirs in which they explained why he looks like such an idiot right about now...
-
They tricked me into playing the game, it really is outrageous.
-
Imagine being able to read.
-
They said that the DLC won’t transfer over, It’s not like you lost the DLC. Just go back to your original console and you’ll be fine, nothing has changed. If you want to use the DLC on PC then re buy it.

Изменено (RichGhost77): 10/15/2019 10:05:30 PMQuite possibly the worst trick ever then. You haven't lost anything you Silly Billy. Learn to read 👍

It's what you get for wanting cross save. You should have know it was going to happen. Just because you have it on one platform it means it won't transfer to others forcing you to rebuy everything again. That's how they get you. You think eververse is bad imagine the thought of buying a game you already own and its dlc again on a different platform.
-
It’s not a trick, they explained this a while ago. Game licenses are tied to whatever platform they were purchased on, that’s just how it is, Bungie can’t do anything about that.
-
Bungie has announced this months ago. And even so, Forsaken shouldn't even be looked at as an expensive Expansion. Because now with buying Forsaken you get; Expansions 1 & 2 for free, and all Annual Pass content for free as well. Just buy Forsaken again. It's not a scam. It's not scummy. It is evident that Bungie wanted to midigate the feeling of betrayal by making the Annual Paas free with it.

Изменено (rocNsock): 10/15/2019 6:13:19 AMWell then this is the third post about this where people need to learn to read they said very clearly actually when you transfer you will get everything new light offers and all your characters and unlocked gear but YOU would need to buy all dlc content for where you transferred as forsaken/shadowkeep would not transfer Edit obviously can be told from comments
-
You got bated. Next time read before you watch a streamer or get carried away by the advertisement in front of the casino telling you some random won $1mln at the slot.
-
Ya its scummy. They could have at least given us forsaken and/or annual pass. But its their terms
-
You gotta pay to play on a different platform. It’s no different than if I bought the game on PS4, but wanted to play on Xbox too... I’d have to buy the game for Xbox. Only thing cross save does is let you continue playing that account rather than starting from scratch. I’d say it’s a good deal there bud, quit complaining and learn how to read and comprehend.
-
Let me help explain why it doesn't work that way. When you bought Forsaken, part of the money went to Bungie/Activision, and part of the money went to Microsoft or Sony depending on whether you purchased on Xbox or PS4. Then at a later point, you decide you want to switch to PC, should Steam not be paid for you playing games on their platform? I don't think you want to go down the path of having licenses be shared across all platforms, all it will do is double or triple the price of content. TL;DR: next time read the TWAB

Bungie told you....like 3 months ago....

-
It’s not a Bungie issue. It’s a platform issue. Bungie has nothing to do with it. PlayStation or Microsoft are the one you’re mad at.
-
Maybe learn to read next time.

my understanding of the cross save feature is that you can move your account (characters and gear and progress) from one platform to another. Example would be Xbox to PC. But this does not mean you get to play the expansion content on PC or whatever other platform you are extending too. This only covers the free content which is Destiny 2 "New Light" and whats included. You need to purchase the Forsaken expansion / Shadowkeep expansion on the new platform you are transferring to in order to play the paid content.. I suppose the question is, why do this? what kind of benefit could I get from this? You can still play with PC friends if you have them or xbox friends if you have them albeit not the paid content. You can experience New light content with your xbox character on the PC with better graphics and faster frame rates. For some this might give a player a strong reason to make a transition from xbox to PC without having to "start over" and buy the expansion for the PC instead of xbox. I had started a new PC character when Destiny 2 became free on PC but its a real chore leveling up your PC character and xbox characters separately. This is a welcomed update. Now if only we could get crossplay (not competitive cross play obviously but at least campaigns, strikes, nightfalls, and raids).
