Just moved and having some significant network issues
Tldr: How can I make my connection better when I can't move the router or console?
Are the outlet signal boosters on the market going to improve my connect enough so I don't lag in Crucible?
Recently moved into a new apt. with my girlfriend. The place is bigger than my last one and the router and my console are on opposite ends of our home, whereas in my old place the router and console were in the same room.
Also, we share the connection with our upstairs neighbors. It's a great setup for saving some money but the house we live in is a decent size
As of late, I've been getting nearly constant "Contacting Destiny 2 Servers" messages. My lag in Crucible is terrible and I don't want to ruin others' experience.
I'm wondering what folks experience is with those outlet, wifi signal boosters?

If it were me I'd buy an Ethernet cableband run it through the appartment for the most stable option. Another option is to buy a longer cable from the wall to the Router and try to get it closer to your device, showing consideration to your neighbours of course Powerline adaptors are also an option, they plug in to your power sockets and transmit the signal using your home electric wiring. But their performance entirely depends on the home wiring quality. Also look into Portforwarding your router, Destiny's P2P model means it relies on a stable, constant connection and Wifi cannot guarentee that so you should be trying everything you can to improve things.
