Thousand Voices is the new Sleeper
I'm not one to shout about nerfing weapoms, Especially ones that either take time to grind a quest for or a raid multiple times over to find.
One Thousand Voices is a brilliant gun and worth the grind, but without fail you're guaranteed a kill, like Sleeper, it takes no skill or proper aiming to get a kill.Except it is an advantage over sleeper, and that advantage is you can the line of fire wherever you want and anything shot at or in that line WILL die. This makes gambit invasions frustrating, especially when shot across the map because of its range, there is no denying it is ridiculous how despite how far the laser shoots it does not loose damage, it can still one hit kill.
I think it's becoming more of a thing now the Last Wish raid has got easier with power level and more people are getting the gun, I think it's time for a range nerf or nerf the damage past a certain range.

Sleeper has a faster charge time, instant kill after the charge that cuts back on trades massively, ADS quicker, holds WAY more ammo, and it can hit crits on the Primevil meaning it out damages 1k if you land crits. Also Sleeper is fantastic at shutting down people flying thru the air like a blade barrage hunter with 1 shot where as 1k will damage them with the initial beam then the explosions will happen way up in the air where the enemy used to be leaving the enemy still alive leading to your likely demise as you wait a year for 1k to charge again or switch to another weapon lol. Also 1 Sleeper shot will over penetrate multiple targets allowing you to get 1k like ad clear if you play into it, go into engagements looking for a good angle that has enemies lined up and body shot them all. Also the chances of killing yourself just because a teammate or ad moved infront of you while shooting 1k, even if only for half a second, are astronomically higher when compared to Sleeper lol. Imo Sleeper wins over 1k any day unless maybe you are rocking full +15 reaper gear and using 1k for ad clear from a position that allows you to kill everything on the screen, tho that's easier on PC with a mouse compared to console so idk. That's the only situation I can think of.

How about no. Enough good weapons have been nerfed for stupid shit only for it to be replaced by something even worse. Example, the sleeper was nerfed and then queen breakers took its place in gambit. I was REALLY pissed when that nerf happened because i used sleeper for more then just gambit, it was my heavy weapon of choice for most of the activities in this game and it was a sign from bungie that things were going to be better then how it was in curse of osiris or vanilla d2. And then along came whisper of the worm, then the last word, outbreak perfected, thorn. not to mention the forge exotics, Its an exotic, they are supposed to be powerful, ESPECIALLY those that come from raids. just because it can wipe a team in one shot in certain game modes (gambit prime) And as for the last wish getting "Easier with the power level increase", Power level increases don't mean jack if half the team does not know how to do the encounter, or if certain parts of the raid still have glitches in them (shuro chi crystals). and the "but without fail you're guaranteed a kill, like Sleeper, it takes no skill or proper aiming to get a kill" im sorry but do you not understand how precise you have to be with that gun?! sure you may be on pc where aiming is easy mode but on console its a whole different ball game, you can't run around hip firing the damn thing and expect to get a kill, you got to have a steady hand, and even then you could still miss, sleeper also takes skill to use because of the amount of precision that you need for it. you know because MOVING TARGETS ARE HARDER TO HIT. So if you are saying its overpowered in gambit prime, well i can guess that you were sitting in the empowering well with your team for dps and the invader came over and team wiped you. You forget one important aspect of both of these weapons as well THEY ARE HEAVY WEAPONS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DEAL MASSIVE DAMAGE. Getting Ohko'ed by a HEAVY should not be a problem. Truth takes less skill to use in gambit and far more people have that compared to the 1K.

Actually Truth is the new sleeper - too much ammo per pickup - each shot is a guaranteed kill - literally a plague in gambit (I’m sure I’m gonna get flak for my comment, but after grinding out Reckoner at the start of the season the truth’s firing sound gives me anxiety) -

If anything it needs a buff. Long charge time & can be easily flinched. I've had it before black armory was released & it's fine in PvP/Gambit. I might get killed by it once in gambit & then I immediately adjust my play style to counter it. I suggest you do the same instead of crying for a nerf. Still needs a buff in pve tho to compete with this boring spike grenade launcher meta

What's funny about it is. When you get hit there like a second you think " oh he didn't hi.."... Than you disintegrate. I hate it also... But dayum is that a cold weapon.
