Изменено (michael): 7/23/2019 1:06:46 PMThe game already has a form of SBMM and it’s team balancing which is bad enough, me having to sweat my ass off to win dropping 40+ kills in qp while second on my team has half that
-
It exists in qp but not in the way you think. It pulls in players based on "connection" and then teams them up based on skill. Basically it will be 1 good player and 5 below average player against 6 average players.
-
I agree. Skill-Based Matchmaking is only healthy for longevity. People have been complaining for a year and a half now that Matchmaking is broken. The only way to solve it is Skill-Based. :/ Everyone saying,"No Skill-Based!" is only part of the many problems Crucible has.

Get me dedicated servers and I'll be in agreement. Until then, I'm against it.

Изменено (Dworf): 7/22/2019 3:35:42 PMYou gotta love it when the pub-stomping sweaty elitists cowardly sociopaths and their clans try to say QP is a social event. These are the same clowns who all have 2.0 or higher KD ratios run stacked teams and have 75 game win streaks. They try to say QP is a social event when in reality to them its not. The sad truth is they terrified of playing quality players because they are ultimately cowards. Whats also funny is that they try to say that lower players want to live in a bubble so that they can fool themselves into thinking they're just as good as everyone else. The real reality though is they want to be able to constantly stomp on lesser players so that they can live in their cowardly artificial bubble of superiority.

I see absolutely no benefit from CBMM, so I really don't care. It's still lag infested and I get trounced. SBMM seems to work much better for me in the Iron Banner, so I'll take it.
-
SBMM won’t come back until the player base on the PC version of the game is large enough to support it. Right now it isn’t.

SBMM is never ever ever ever coming back period. It is simply a pipe dream for the normal people to think that they they could play a format that was actually fun and rewarding. Instead they are forced to play format that is a complete pile of horse shit. And yes because of the stupid missions we are forced to play it. You see Cruc-A-Crap is a nothing more than hot pile of dog shit designed to appease the pub-stomping sweaty elitists cowardly sociopaths and their clans.
-
Haha, did you play Destiny 1? And if you want something like SBMM... well, there is something called "Comp". You should try it.
-
Never gonna happen!!! Too many people usin’ their platforms to champion against SBMM and Bungle would rather they be championing Shadowkeep. Plus every “70 Kill Challenge” video is one less “Destiny 2 is Dead” video.
-
Sbmm was so much better. Also, should bring in a game mode with locked weapon types. Miss the old days of shotty snipers from halo.
-
It never left. I'm pretty sure Quickplay is the only playlist that doesn't have SBMM.

Изменено (Born Mnemonic): 7/24/2019 12:27:02 AMAs much as I love the idea of more lag and sweating my ass off in a playlist with the description “casual, low intensity” so that the “I’m just in it for the milestone” gang can have an easier time... How bout nah, and you hold this downvote. If you want SBMM go play comp, once you reach your rank plateau you will play against (somewhat) similarly skilled players. It’s not SBMM but it’s much closer to it.
-
Yes. I am disinterested in pvp, bad at it and only play it if a quest etc asks me to play it. I will not get good, indeed I can't get good as my reaction time will not improve sufficiently to compete with kids younger than the t shirt I'm wearing. However, matched against similarly useless players where a chance of being alive for some of a match might encourage many to play for fun rather than necessity. Surely that would be good for the health of the game.

If you think sbmm should be in the game you’re lost

Изменено (mja calg): 7/23/2019 3:28:08 PMI'd say it's time to stop being the only AAA Title over the past 5+ years that still relies on Peer to Peer networking and get Regional Dedicated Host Servers. You can't have "Skill" when you have a falling population, people harvesting IP addresses (peer to peer, remember) to launch IP attacks and Bungie matchmaking tossing people into matches from any corner of the globe.
-
How can you have SBMM in a no-skill game?
-
The sweats are scared cause they know it coming back.

I 100% disagree. I carry blueberries solo all day in quickplay and get wins all the time! The best part of no SBMM is it takes the lower skilled player and teaches them how to play at a higher level, which over time makes them better players. You will forever and always be trash playing against teams at your own skill level. Playing against and defeating higher skilled opponents makes you overall better over time. You learn how to engage against good players, and how to counter them by playing against them. Do I win every match? No...is my team trash with the bluest of the berries...most of the time, but I find ways to out perform the enemy team and carry my blueberries to victory! There are matches where I lead my team with 42 defeats and a 4.42 kda and yet we still lose because most of my team are playing with no thumbs and it's up to me to carry a heavy sack of potatoes. Am I mad? No....I get back in there, and DO IT AGAIN! I never got good playing scrubs...always play against better players to get better at the game. The 6 stacks are annoying, and I will say the 4-6 man teams...I do try to avoid, but PLEASE FOR WHOEVER READS WHAT I'M TYPING.....Take my advice, play against the better players and your gameplay will improve playing against a higher skilled opponent. Thank you! ✌

Yeah youre gonna but hurt a lot of sweats cause of this. They dont want to play people on the same skill level, it would cripple most of them. They want their easy wins, easy skins. So the rest of the community has to suffer for it. Dedicated servers and region locking would solve 90% of the problems people have with SBMM but bungie being extremely cheap wont do it because itd force them out of their hard stolen money and make them work just a little bit. PvP will stay in the mess its for the rest of D2s lifetime, we may as well get used to it
-
I prefer not sweaty matches.
Time to bring back SBMM
Well you got an upvote from me! So sick of the current bullshit of stacked teams all with huge k/d and all running not forgotten... matched up against me and 5 other solos who are all essentially potatoes compared to the stacked team. SOOOO not fun! I pretty much just quit those matches now and I don't give a shit if that pisses anyone off. Talk to bungie about it because I'm not going to sit there through an entirely lopsided match. Even if they bring back SBMM the problem will still persist with paid carries which is essentially pros running around on potato accounts. Another simple fix is to simply give EVERY quest a PVE path so those of us who find PVP misery don't have to suffer. Seriously, Mountaintop is a NIGHTMARE quest... and it's a weapon mostly used in PVE... so why are we having to do a PVP quest for it? All of that aside, I would settle for the option to queue into a SOLO only queue.
-
But that would mean that streamers would have to face gamers that would give them a challenge. Are you sure you want that, we have to protect them you know?
-
Agreed. People who hate it don't want to fight players at their level. They like beating the little guy and feeling powerful doing it.
-
You seen how long a match takes to find at legend rank? Is it really right that people at that level should wait so long for a match and then be matched against people on different continents with high ping every game? Nope and that's why there's quick play. The way it should work is pick teams on connection, and then put those two teams in the most equal split possible.
