Title says it all. It’s not fair in the slightest to go against an organized team with call outs when my team is comprised of 4 randoms. Quite simple.

This isn't quite as annoying as being dropped into a match that's basically over, onto a team that's only seconds away from losing. Complete waste of time.

Gambit is a game favored towards teamwork. If you dont want to play in an organized team either hit up the voice chat or accept that things probably aren't going to go down the way you want them to against an organized group. This is coming from someone who plays gambit primarily solo, by the way.

Imagine trying to get Half Banked or Massacre medals in G. Prime with randoms. It's literally impossible to do unless your teammates give it to you on purpose.

Изменено (SwankyButters): 7/22/2019 7:08:37 AMYou know what I think it is? The majority of people who play PvP and gambit are the pros and the randoms are not the best at it. I'm sure a lot of times they match good teams with good teams but I don't think it's possible all the time cause of the numbers. I don't play either, so it's not a concern of mine but I'm guessing with the PvP player numbers being on the low end and a lot of people who don't like playing PvP, you are going to get matched up against pros a bit too often. Sad that I never found PvP fun, or gambit. Personally I don't know how bungie can make it better. It's something I have no idea about but I feel they can make it better. For me, I would love it if guns were not locked behind any one activity. I'll grind the same as someone in PvP would, just in a place that I enjoy, instead of an activity I don't. This seems like the best solution of all. Then pros can play pros in PvP and I can grind out a quest somewhere I enjoy.

i'd agree if gambit wasn't riddled with rubber band catch up mechanics.
-
Easy solution: Stop playing Gambit.

Gambit ? Pve? ....???
-
Teams are heavily handicapped as compensation. Substantially more ultras and majors
-
Most teams in Gambit are terrible and they get stomped all the time
-
..Organized Call-outs? Have you, have you ever played in a stack? 9/10 we're talking about something completely unrelated to Destiny. The 1/10 is when we're talking shit about the invader using Truth and Spectral Blades.
-
A four team doesn’t mean insta win. I play occasionally with my clan and we don’t talk much about Gambit at all. The only thing that communication helps with in Gambit is to find out where the Invader is and maybe to when to Damage the boss (But that’s obvious)

Well, the outcome of the match is 9 times out of 10 determined by the first successful invasion. If you see you're going up against a team, here's some advice: 1. Put on an invader set if you have one and be prepared to carry the PvE and PvP side of things. Have on 4 pieces ams a synth popped. 2. Do your best to allow your teammates to get blockers so they bank as soon as your team has 25 motes. If that means only get 5, so be it. The first team to hit that 25 mote milestone gets the first invasion. If it's successful, the invasions snowball from there. 3. Get the first heavy brick if you need it. 4. Get good invader weapons. Snipers, scouts, machine guns, rockets, etc. 5. If you get the first invasion, act fast. Get them while they're at the bank and get a couple kills before you're called out. That's your chance to get the big fish. Once that happens, the team will either run or ape. Use your heavy if they ape, and if they run, try to close the gap to the best of your ability without dying. It's better to be there for the full 30 seconds than die after 5. 6. If your team doesn't get the first invasion up, slay blockers up until the invader is there. Do not run from the blockers. Once the invader arrives, hunt him down. Odds are your blues will just run, so do whatever it takes to make sure they get their motes in. Kill him. 7. Your blues should now bank. If they don't, the game is over unless you can drop a second invader. If they do bank, invade and see number 5.

Since when does a stack ensure a win? Comms and working together is a benefit But it doesn’t take much to dismantle a “stack” of friends/clan members

Изменено (Land): 7/22/2019 11:20:27 PMNot enough people playing gambit to do that. Sorry bud

How many times are people going to say this before realizing that Bungie has already done everything they can? They already made it so you match against even teams when there's a stable connection, and when you aren't matched evenly they put solos with better stats against groups with lower stats. What else can be done? Before you say it, they can't make it impossible to match unevenly. That would make load times far too long, and connections wouldn't be nearly as good. Remember: we're running on outdated server technology.

You don’t like getting pub stomped every match? Weird. I think Bungie likes watching solo players getting destroyed while they’re at work. I think they each have a monitor on their desk that just shows solo players getting destroyed by stacks in crucible and gambit, It doesn’t get old so it won’t change.
-
they need easy cannon fodder for their pseudo MLG players
-
This needs to be sorted on PvP first.
-
This is completely possible. However, with Shadowkeep coming, I bet they'll completely forget about Gambit.
-
I have played gambit and prime a ton. Beaten heaps of four stacks. When you go in solo you go in knowing that your at a disadvantage.

Изменено (Мегадуэ): 7/22/2019 8:50:55 PMSomeday people will realize that playing solo they have agreed to play against full teams but that's another story.(Russian Meme)

Gambit is trash i only usually play to get some kind of weapon....its not really a fun game mode
-
I’m currently trying to get 21% delirium and man isn’t this a pain. You win 1 lose 3 and then watch your infamy rank barely move smh
-
So join a team then.....wow! That was easy! I'm good at brain!

I’ve played more solo gambit than you, and I can confidently say that this almost never happens. I only get matched up against full-stacks when I’m with 1-2 friends. And even then it’s rare. The system in place is fine. We don’t need more restrictions on the queue to make wait times even more unbearable.
