Corrupted install data on PS4. Could use some help...

So, I'm frequently getting this error once every few days, sometimes a couple times a day... I've tried multiple things. First, I rebuilt the database via the safe menu. Still got the error. So, I deleted my install and started fresh. And I still get the error, that says corrupted data install, closing application, and force quits my game... seems to happen the most going into matchmaking for Strikes or PvP, sometimes Menagerie. Again, it happens every few days, so maybe 3-4 times per week. As for a bit of history, I started out with the disc version, once it was free for PS+, I switched to digital, shared from a roommate's account, and since buying the Shadowkeep deluxe edition, I've owned the digital version myself. I'd worry that its my PS4, or the HDD, if it were happening with other games... but Destiny is one of those series where I always blame Bungo, its servers, or its game first - no offense, its just how their track record goes, versus games, and game developers, like Monster Hunter World and Capcom, or Borderlands and Gearbox. That said, anyone know what could be up with this? Ever since that latest patch, and last Saturday's abrupt "Pardon our dust" maintenance, things have been extra screwy with connections, servers and Destiny 2 reliability... so I'm wondering if its just that. Thanks in advance for any insight. Oh and just in case a BNG employee comes around, yes my net is stable, yes I've checked my net connection, and yes my PS4 is plugged in... also every other games on my console is just fine. ;P

The current connection issues within the gameworld are one thing. Your game data becoming corrupted randomly is an entirely different thing. If this is happening multiple times and you've done everything possible software wise on your system, then you'll want to contact Sony concerning repair/replacement. Destiny is very intensive, and is constantly dealing with data transfer, both bandwidth and from the saved data on the disk, even more so when switching areas/loading in, because it's having to read all the textures/meshes/etc. As such, if your hardware has a defect, it's much more likely to show up with Destiny than many other games. You can try to work around the issue by uninstalling Destiny in its entirety, installing a different large game, then installing Destiny again. This should hopefully install the game to a different section of the hard drive and may allow you to play without the issue. However, you should definitely contact Sony concerning it, even if the above possible workaround works. What you're describing is a hardware malfunction. It is not widespread affecting the majority of people (such as the current connection sync issues dealing in crucible and the like), nor is it a known issue that has been reported by anyone outside of those that have had a hardware malfunction. Widespread issues are the ones that are generally on Bungie's side and fixable by Bungie. Sadly, your data becoming corrupted constantly isn't one of them.
