I was banned for screen recording with GeForce Experience and now I can’t log onto my account. I did nothing wrong but Bungie detected a “third party” and I was then error codes off the game and banned. I would like help/support on how to resolve this issue and how to get unbanned because I have spent a lot of money of this game over the years

GeForce experience will not get you banned, D2 will not flag it as it’s supported. Do you remember what you were running while playing D2?

I’ve used GeForce recording I even use their shadow play. That’s not what got you banned. You have something else in your system that caused it.

Изменено (Golden): 7/17/2019 7:57:55 PMYou don’t just get banned for using a recording software allowed by bungie I’d be banned then for using Relive. Something else on your Pc got you banned

Do you use macros or have any other cheats on your pc?

Typically, pc bans are due to software detected by Destiny 2 while running. These include but not limited to, trainers, aimbots, auto-fire, mods, graphics hacks, anything that injects code into games, debuggers for programing, even some viruses. any of these could cause a ban, even if not destiny 2 specific. Nvidia recording software will not get you banned. there was something else running that caused the ban. Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason. There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans. Bans are lifetime for that account https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929 https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/47715 *I am not a Bungie representative, just a player trying to give the answers that are available.

Bans are manually placed on accounts following account investigation that turns up behaviour that justifies the action being taken. These investigations can be started by multiple reports of cheating or otherwise disallowed behaviour over a long time period. Alternatively, bans may be placed after the Destiny 2 app on PC detects potential cheat software and flags it, sending data to Bungie - again requiring manual confirmation for a ban to be placed. The only other way to obtain a ban is to continue to play match made PVP and gambit, following both a 2 week and 2 month restriction from those activities. In all seriousness, and with respect, you have broken the Destiny code of conduct in some way and been appropriately punished for it. There is no way to appeal a ban or have it overturned. Bungie does not discuss or revoke restrictions or bans.

If you see the 'Not so fast' splash screen on start up, then you account is finished with D2. There is no resolving the issue. You are banned.
