Bungie should have reduced the end timer instead of making it a 1 chest opening per completion. That would have been a much better compromise.

I disagree it was economy breaking. First off there's no economy to speak of as there is no player trading or crafting. Second the rarity of random rolls on armor means it's functionally impossible for most players to find the rolls they want. It was really not a problem. It drove interest, it was fun. No need to patch it frankly.

it was fun and it did drive interest. but it was broken. the economy I speak of is legendary shards, no other activity can you get upwards of 30 shards in 15 minutes

They should have patched much sooner. Now the community feels spoiled by it because they left it going on for too long.
