Ok, I’d say that Destiny 2 is a game not meant for everyone. Personally yes, I do think the game is in a good spot, but not everyone enjoys the grind, or the imbalance of the exotics and stuff like that. I don’t like that as well, but the whole aspect of grinding has been a thing with the destiny franchise since the release of d1, so if you don’t like grinding, the game isn’t for you. Yes the game needs to be improved, I personally think that the dlcs should be less $. They’re quite expensive and witch queen for the 30th anniversary is almost $100, which is quite pricey even for a dlc I’m not saying destiny is a bad or good game, I’m just saying it’s a game that not everyone can enjoy

Developers clearly don’t know how to make a game

I'd say yes it's a bad game, as none of the stuff that I read about it before downloading seems valid. Open PvE with optional PvP.. hmm, lets see all weapons PvE or otherwise require time in the crucible. So if you happen to be like me and not really into PvP, or as it should be known based off here, PvMC (Player verses Mouse Clickers) you really can't get anywhere in the game. Almost every quest in the game requires mandatory time in either the crucible or gambit, but if most seem to prefer to camp or in the case of the PvEvP called Gambit at least 1 person will stay in the base and do nothing, or try to lose on purpose. Then we have the idea that it was originally stated to be open for all devices (including laptop/notebook), consoles, and operating systems.. then a bit after downloading it, all of a sudden there was the "Oh well, we no longer support this being run on notebooks or laptops." Oh really, wouldn't that be false advertising? The we have the fact that I was under the impression it was a controller supported game, but turns out it's only like a quarter supported and if something goes wrong (ie log in and all of a sudden your left joystick doesn't work right instead doing the equivalent of the pad, and the pad being useless), there's no real support from either Bungie or Steam in regards to finding and troubleshooting issues that I can see. Now on top of whatever issues I might have had and been able to bypass, now the settings regardless of what change automatically default back to original settings withing about 10 seconds of hitting okay after changing something. As things stand, I'm looking at probably having to fully uninstall the game then reinstall for a 7th time to see why it corrupted itself yet again. It has to be data corruption of the game, cause my Acer Nitro 5 is but at worst 6 months old, so it can't be that I don't have the system requirements to run the game. I would try to ask for help in regards to configuring stuff, but as most on there seem to like calling people -blam!-, -blam!-ing -blam!-, mentally incompetent and shite like that, well.. yeah not gonna happen. I think I'll end my rant here, as I did cover quite a bit, in regards to my issues with this game. I wish I could get it to run the way it's supposed to, or at least get it to work with a controller without constantly disconnecting it every 3-5 seconds. The only other thing I can think to add, is why is it each and every time I load a hunter in game, I get the "The servers are down, log out.." then "Servers are back up, relog to access features..", and once done, see the first message. I get booted from the game between 3-6 times daily for no other reason than logging in?!? Really now?!?

They could start by actually making the exotics worth using. Instead there are like 1 or 2 that are overpowered and the rest are just infusion material. Next they could make their celebrations.... idk actual celebrations instead of the gutter trash Solstice aka Fking Eververse has all the cool shit event. Those are great starts. Oh and maybe they could show an little bit of a shit when making content instead of literally ripping D1 bosses and locations and selling it to gullible players for 50 dollars. Yah thats better

I left the game because it felt pointless and unrewarding. There were no motivation to do anything except on Tuesday (maybe Wednesday too). Has this changed? Do you still have to wait a week to get higher PL gear piece from the (idr the name) power engrams (?) Or can you grind PL by playing and getting drops?

Name 5 console games to have over a million population after 2 years... Answer, no.. It's not a bad game, just full of babies who are 90%of the gaming population demanding for more all the time..

PvE is alright PvP is an imbalanced mess, it's terrible

I don’t think it’s bad, but can be improved, bungie seems to be fixing majority of problems with shadowkeep, bringing cross save, and are now in control of what comes next, hopefully there will be less posts about how bad comp is cuz really I’ve been seein posts like these since curse of Osiris lol, I believe it’ll be better

It’s stagnant it’s not moving backwards but not really going anywhere either For instance menagerie is great something new and gives you goals to achieve But the rewards are nothing new just old armour and guns with jewels or old armour and weapons with different perks Shadow keep and I know not too much is known but from what I can gather it’s d1 moon stages with d1 bosses Eververse is taking priority over new content but some stuff is actually ok so half half there Biggest gripe is that d2 hasn’t got its own identity whether you were for or against the sequel we got it and it just seems like bungie want to just make it destiny 1.5 We have sooo much potential for new areas new armour new weapons And we constantly get reskinned recycling Two steps forward two steps back

I don’t think it’s ever been bad. Until Warmind it definitely didn’t have the replay ability of D1 but since then it’s just been getting better and better. Forsaken brought about the best incarnation of any Destiny for me and although the season pass was a bit inconsistent, I think it’s good value for money, a good model for the game and it finished strongly. Looking forward to Shadowkeep and Bungie’s emphasis on more RPG mechanics. In terms of what could be done better: PvP needs some attention. I think weapon balance and general class balance is decent but roaming supers need less armour and bottom tree striker needs adjusting. More maps and a true end game PvP mode - whether that is a reinvention of Comp, Trials or both. PvE has been satisfying for me but the Forges and Reckoning don’t seem to have the same ‘pull’ as other activities, I hope next year’s season pass introduces things that you want to play again and again. Finally, keeping activities relevant such as Escalation Protocol would add so much depth to the end game for little investment - just updating the weapons to year 2 and increasing difficulty would be enough for me but new bosses, weapons and armour could be an option too.

I wouldn't say bad, I'd say annoying af! I love playing PvP, but it's beyond annoying getting constantly thrown into ongoing matches and you get killed off respawn. Honestly... Everything with crucible is absolutely shit and even though they said they would say how they will be "fixing" the problems, we all know that won't happen. PvE is fun, but RNG hates my guts so I can't really give good feedback

The game has issues but it’s still the best multiplayer game on the market right now. I think D2 surpassed D1 shortly after Forsaken released.
