I ran into a thread a while back where a Bungie forum person said that the too dark HDR was a known issue.
Have they fixed that yet? I'm on an LG OLED and Xbox One X and it doesn't seem like it's been fixed yet. Last Wish raid and the Enkaar duel suuuuuucks with the current HDR settings.

I can’t see shit in some areas of this game. We should be able to use ghost as a light whenever we want.

I have the same issue (LG OLED) - also, I've experienced burn in of the HUD from the lower left corner of the screen while using HDR. I had to re-calibrate the display to get rid of it. I just play in normal (non-HDR) mode now because of the issues. Remember Whisper of the Worm's Oracle challenge? There are spots in there where you just have to jump blind due to how dark it is.

Изменено (temo): 6/19/2019 5:22:27 PMu got one of the best tv's its not it, its the game itself, it is too dark in some places, its just the way the game is, though u do get those perfect black spots cus the led shuts off completely on that tv, try with another game that has dark places

For anyone that thinks it’s their TV, it’s not. I’ve played other games with HDR (State of Decay 2, for example) on Xbox One X and haven’t had a darkness issue as prevalent as Destiny 2.

Изменено (I1 Panther I1): 6/19/2019 4:55:01 PMOh! So its not my TV? This is a relieve to read man! I just got a deal on an Xbox one X and have a 4k Samsung and I have the same issue. Sometimes I can't find my way at the entrance of a lost sector. Its good to know this is on the game. Thank you!

Still terrible on PS4.

Is it really broken? HDR black levels are based off the brightness settings before turning on HDR. Mine was at 4 and I don't have half the issues my friends do in dark areas.

Still not fixed! Its darker than a black hole. And then, there is the boot up screen....ahhhhhhh ^^
