Diagonal movements while aiming are rough, and it's even worse if you're using Legacy Thumbsticks like I am. Let us have more control over how we aim, aside from simple horizontal/vertical look sensitivity. The sensitivity curve of Destiny 2 is heavily constricted and nowhere near a linear curve, even 10 sensitivity can't really put a dent in it. Other games on console have this option, such as Overwatch (Aim Ease In) and Apex Legends (Response Curve). I have never enjoying the simple act of looking around or trying to have precise aim and find myself relying far too much on strafing instead of aiming to adjust my crosshairs. Controlling SMG recoil on console is really hard, but SMG's look like laser beams on PC.
I came back to try out the new content but I'm having a hard time enjoying myself because the simple act of aiming is heavily modified by a sensitivity curve *I can't even see.* this curve also impacts turning speed. It's time to update these settings! Destiny has the same (nearly identical) controller options as 2001's Halo: Combat Evolved

I support this 100%. Destiny has always been a game I have to relearn (takes me an hour or so, and even then it's not something I ever fully get used to) after every other fps I play. It's probably the number one contributing factor to me not playing Crucible, and also why I want to switch to PC when cross save is available.
