The punishment for opening op. Chest early..
So I’m rarely on the forums , only for my clan and a few laughs... wasn’t aware of the “error” on bungies behalf of the reset of the chests on Nessus for our robot friend. Come to find out they kind of punished people who opened them early... no powerful reward drops and instead of the actual amount of imperials for bounties we get 50 only.
I understand people will share info , make it known , and expect bungie to make a statement about it but the topics I came across had no warning or statement regarding opening chests “early” , just “upvote for awareness go open them now etc etc”.
Was it my fault that they were there and I opened them ? Not knowing I’d be screwed on refresh? Was looking forward to grinding to upgrade my chalice but know I have to wait another week.

EDIT* seems to have been a glitch on my wife’s other characters they are showing powerful drops for bounties now ... idk anymore lol

1 ответWhat? I opened those chests again and then opened them again this week with no changes. They even said they were gonna keep it I think.

it isnt really a punishment except for the fact that because i got my imperial buff after it happened i cant get them this week

Got the shaft with powerful gear after completing my first bounty. Not sure if it was a glitch or what. Everything needs to reset Tuesday like it’s alway been. What is this Sunday crap?

I opened the chests sunday and for me the bounties didn't show powerful gear. However when i completed one and got the treasure map, they then all switched to show that they will give powerful gear. So hopefully this happen for you as well, but who knows.

I don't know, I wasn't punished for opening them. Still have the four powerful weekly bounties and the Chalice is showing three powerful rewards available for the week. Got the same amounts of items from the second round of chests as the first. 🤷

If they punish people for this glitch, what happened to punishing people who ended up with over a thousand enhancement cores due to a glitch?

8 отв.Well... you can’t always assume that you’ll get off scott-free after abusing an exploit. That’s why I try to avoid them, so I won’t have a possibility of being punished.

Screwed? WTF are you talking about? We had them 2 times in a week, so how do you get screwed now? It doesnt matter if you open them on sunday or tuesday. Really dont get your problem...

Opened them Sunday on my warlock. Today the robot bounties on my warlock did not give powerful gear but my hunter & titan are....

1 ответThat’s pathetic in that I happened to be cruising through Nessus and noticed the chests had reset. They are chests for crying out loud. What do we do when we see a chest? We friggin open it. That’s what we do. Now come reset we are penalized because we opened them? No. I have issue with the Bungie Logic in this instance.
