I don't have any problem helping people that don't have many clears it's just when they lie to me about it. Like yesterday I was trying to get a quick run for Leviathan and I specifically asked everybody if they knew what they were doing so when we got to the gauntlet nobody would shoot a symbol being called. They all said yes... Sure enough we get to the gauntlet and what do you know, guy says dog bottom and literally every time they shoot the one thats being called. We finally get to Calus and some doofus on the left side of void does not know how to correctly look in front of him and call out the symbol so the people in throne can hit the correct psion. Nor does he know how to shoot projections in the void. It's not that we think those people are trash but we have already experienced what wiping over, and over, and over feels like and we really dont want that. And I seriously don't understand whats so hard about telling people that you don't know what you're doing. I would much rather have somebody open to the fact they are clueless then somebody secretly griefing because they dont want to be caught. On the other hand I usually am forced to use LFG for Raids because most of my friends aren't that good at raiding or they just don't like it at all. So it puts me in a pretty tough spot to trust whether or not people actually know what they are doing so I dont spend 5 hours of my day wiping at Kali. I understand that some people may find that fun and exciting but I personally dont want to spend my day in one encounter to earn a bad rolled Transfiguration.
