Indeed. As an autistic gamer I can entirely relate. I love sci fi, FPS and 3d modeling and playing this game is a visual/sonic symphony that cannot be duplicated anywhere else on PC. I (we) try hard. We fail and try again. It isn't possible in word to describe the "communication terror" that happens or the how getting acclimatized to a new environment can take so long (Corrupted strike is a great example of a sensory overloading experience. The combination of ambient noise, visual effects, dimension hopping, jumping platform and fighting coming in unfiltered means there is no capacity left to organize speech. Raid environments tend to be even more challenging.). It may take us a while but we will get there...at some point.
If you’re truly on the spectrum, you’re not going to socialize normally with anyone no matter what you do. Get a group who understands your disability and play with them and you’ll thrive. Random groups aren’t good for people on the spectrum
