[several things:
1: innuendos, finally
2: I don’t believe the fallen outright attacked the city in RoI, the whole thing was devil splicers trying to reclaim SIVA to get all the other houses to merge or else.
3: If there’s going to be iron lore stuff, I should be involved. (It’s fine if I’m not though.)
4: Where is my climate detail for the cosmodrome? You did this before, why not now?
5: My addiction to these stories is growing, damn you.
That’s all.]

[I know about the fallen attack (of course I forgot the gjallerhorn quest) thanks to KSeth, cool dude. Can’t wait for the new page.]

There actually was a Fallen attack on the City in Rise of Iron. In the “A Symbol of Honor” mission, we went to Bannerfall (a Crucible map and one of the abandoned Towers) to find blueprints for Gjallarhorn. Members of House Devils (without SIVA) led by Iliksis, Light Stalker appeared in a sudden attack, planting explosives in an attempt to annihilate Bannerfall and an entire chunk of the City Wall. They would have succeeded if we hadn’t been there when they showed up.

[forgot about that mission. Although I am surprised that the fallen waited until the splicers got screwed to attack the city. They put themselves at a strategic disadvantage that made them suffer defeat harder than they already would’ve.]

Hmm, you know, I don’t think the time for that mission was specific, but I think it most likely took place before the Wrath of the Machine Raid.
Now you’ve got me thinking about this and it’s pretty interesting. Mind if I rant about it? I’m gonna rant about it, lol. You can’t stop me!
Honestly, I think it might have been better for the attack to happen after SIVA Splicers were defeated. The Devils that attacked Bannerfall didn’t have any help from the SIVA Splicers (at least no help in that battle), so wether or not the Splicers were around wasn’t helping except to distract the Guardians by keeping their attention on the Cosmodrome. But if the Splicers were defeated, then that would mean the Guardians had just finished that miniature war, using up resources and potentially losing Guardians, and would have been lulled into a slightly more relaxed state after their victory. So I think there would have been more advantages to attacking after the defeat of the Splicers.
