We had a whole year of being able to do this, and with random rolls we get locked masterworks? What the hell? Lol nothing like getting a god-rolled weapon with all the perks you need and the complete opposite of the masterwork you need.
Meaningful choices and stuff.

Bump < Another layer of grind and RNG
-
You will be able to in a future update, but you must pay them 10000 enhancement cores.
-
Completely agree. RNG should be able to get you 80% of the way there, and then anything after that IMO should be user controllable.
-
Artificial grind, lacklustre game design.
-
I don’t particularly mind most of the curated rolls, but the most pointless one I’ve seen yet is Bug out Bag. The two perks contradict each other: - Slideways - Multikill clip It’s great that slideways refills the magazine a bit, and it’s great that multikill clip is a better kill clip, but THEY DON’T WORK TOGETHER!

Because that would make sense.

Изменено (temo): 5/16/2019 9:08:38 PMcus thats too good of an idea for bungie bro, they should just take away masterwork cores from infusions and leave them to masterwork weapons and re roll perks
-
Bungie doesn’t like good ideas....

I have nothing special to say
...so have an Upvote from me.

We had a whole year of being able to do this...
He he he. No.

Изменено (nothingspecial_): 5/16/2019 4:09:56 PMSame reason why we can't reroll perks, it was a bad idea in d1. All you needed was 1 copy of the gun and then reroll til you got a god roll. Masterworks add to the nature of random rolls, so no they shouldn't be rerolled. If that was the case it would cost enhancement cores and we all know you sissies get triggered by that so it will only cause more turmoil in the forums.
-
I'm sure it's just because they were too lazy to re-program that for Master-working version 2 Makes zero sense to have it for Y1 MW weapons but not Y2
-
Everyone knows Infusion is the endgame now.
-
Same reason you cant mod the elemental damage. It would be too easy to get that godly roll, then you'd have no more reason to grind the game.
-
It’s all about keeping you playing as long as possible without actually getting the perfect roll. Your suggestion, although a good one, would possibly allow more people to get the exact rolls they want and Bungie ain’t about that life.
-
Why are we here? Just to suffer.

Изменено (GalaxySpider): 5/16/2019 12:11:51 PMThe plus 10 are barely noticeable on any gun to have a really meaningful impact on gunplay, if you ask me. I basically can't tell the difference between a Handcannon (with slow reload) with the +10 masterwork reload bonus or without it. So why even bother. Same with guns with MW rolls on already outstanding stats. A Chattering Bone with +10 stability on it is just as good a non MW'd Chattering Bone. It's only good for one thing: orbs.
-
the amount of times i've gotten outlaw and had "reload" be my masterwork has me convinced they roll hand in hand with eachother.
-
Because it's a good idea.
-
Has always been a head scratcher.

Bungie hates the players lol. Its the only reason i can think of for the changes to the masterwork system. D2 launch was horrible. They had to backtrack and undue all of the predatory changes. So salty nobody liked their "vision" of the game. Got strong armed into fixing the game and to spite the player in the end they decided to make enhancement cores their version of revenge. Its the only thing that makes sense. It provides no ingame fun or value. It sole purpose is to show the player that this is our game(bungie). And you can force us to make some changes but in the end there will be some punishment.
-
Why? Because with the lack of real content and any reason to continue to play after reaching max level your self with only grinding for gear with the perks you want. If they allow you to reroll masterworks many people would already have the god roll set ups. It is done to artificially inflate the time people play by forcing them to grind more. Aka get god roll set up but terrible masterwork ow well enjoy grinding again for another month. Also masterwork is a flawed concept by default. It only really impacts PVP and current PVP is a complete mess where gun skill means nothing and it is mainly super , heavy and shotgun spam. However this is bungie. The reason the meta never really changes is bungie dont have a clue about balancing and for some reason take a year to balance one gun when it should take a week. I would rather them spend a year of balancing weapons once a week and have some sort of balance than once every 3 months and still half the guns dont get balance. Nerf good guns leave bad guns as they are. Decrease TTK. Increase Movement Speed. Increase In Air Accuracy. Revert to 4v4 or Redevelop Maps and Spawns. Nerf the Sh¬t out of heavy and revert to D1 style or just no heavy at all Drop damage Resistance of roaming supers down 25% (Titans pretty much cant be killed and you just have to run and thats just boring.)
-
You will play our way and like it. Bungie
-
It really is a kick in the head when you get an awesome weapon, but the masterwork is handling. I don't know about consoles, but handling is a "do-nothing" stat on PC. I don't notice an ounce of difference between a gun with high handling and low handling. Unfortunately, handling seems to be the most common masterwork roll.
-
This needs to be a thing again. Especially since we could in year 1.
-
Exactly. The main thing I actually liked about masterworks was the customisation
