Borderlands 3 just stuck another dagger in Bungies soft skull.

So what you are saying is Warframe/The Division 1 and 2/Monster Hunter World/Anthem/“Insert whatever game you are pimping today” will kill Destiny. Is that right?
Totally being sarcastic, wasn’t a real question. Just pointing out that the narrative that you are stating isn’t anywhere close to new
No, Destiny/Bungie have done a great job of killing their own game by themselves. Borderlands 3 will just help move a few people away from this cancer.

Here I'll reword it for you . Destiny 2 is dead.. most of the people playing are people that got it from a $5 bargin bin. Look at your friends list .. Dead

The community also has a lot to do with it. But that’s just me being 100 percent honest. Our hands are equally as dirty.

The fact that the communities hands, as a whole have a lot to do with the quality of the state of the game? I hope you didn’t read that as quality of game equals 50 percent Bungie and 50 percent community. Equally meant all of us have in some way attributed to how this is currently going. Of course Bungie would be mostly responsible. But not 100 percent responsible. It’s far closer to an 80/20 split.

I get your point though 😆 although I'm going to be selfish and not accept any blame as I only started commenting on here in the last month 😉😉 I haven't asked for any changes lol I've made a couple of suggestions, but I doubt Bungie have ever seen anything I post ☺

I don't think any of those games was going to "kill destiny" for me. Especially those games alone. Because Destiny hits a few broad things. It a FPS, it has fps pvp, and it has an open world aspect. Speaking only for me. Division loses me as third person. GTA is the only game i've really dug that's third person and i'd still prefer the shooting part of it be all fps. Warframe is for me is too detailed and complex. i started it but found it hard to decipher and it felt repetitive (a criticism i have for Destiny too by the way). Monster hunter was never my thing. Anthem, again third person no pvp. For me Destiny has done more to hurt Destiny than anyone else. I think the fanchise is more likely to lose to multiple games rather than just one big destiny killer. Like they lose pvp to apex, lose pve to borderlands, lose open world fans to Cyberpunk 2077. Honestly, i notices on twitch it was like the 50th game. D1 it was like 6 and 7th. So its fallen in popularity as a twitch game which is interesting. Another interesting thing is the other day i looked at lfg for ps4 crucible. there were only 5 posts, total. LFG and LFM. That's a pretty low number. I wonder if news of nerfs has deterred even more of the crucible people. Regardless, i think there is no doubt the game has some issues right now and stiffening competition. I will likely try out Borderlands just cause.

B3 is going to be decent. Been replaying B2 myself in my off hours. I also expect people to bounce of B3 the same way they do all games. There is no one size fits all game, otherwise there would be no variety in games. Games can coexist regardless of ones current feelings on a product.
