The issue with Enhancement Cores and infusion is worsened by Iron Banner. In order for me to be at my highest Power Level, I have to run a combo of Does Not Compute, Thin Line and Through the Flood. Both Kinetic and Energy weapons are the slower Rate of Fire weapons. None of my load out contains an exotic weapon, and my armour consists of very little synergy or worthwhile boosts to my load out. On top of this, Iron Banner rewards drop LOWER than my Power Level. These rewards are after the match is over and in no relation to the bounties. (My first match end reward, 650 helmet, which will potentially cost cores or glimmer to infuse) At 672 PL I am only marginally within line of the players I am up against, but the outstanding few who are at 690 are far more powerful than me. This situation made worse by an extremely sluggish load out and mismatched armour perks. Iron Banner should, at any opportunity, drop rewards at YOUR light level or above, again irrelevant of the main Bounties. This would make levelling a bit quicker for us players who are on limited playing time, and allow us to actually enjoy a game mode knowing we can at least compete at a Power Level enabled event, regardless of our skill. Otherwise, very few people will find this game mode appealing or worth their time.
