Tips on Competitive play for a scrub?
I don't do crucible much but i have started doing glory a lot this season and i tend to hold my own depending how the game turns out. I even made it to brave 3 and a third towards heroic.
But recently i have been hit by a wave of bad games by bad team mates, poor strategies or even just flat out stomped over by the regular players with the top tier weapons.
How can a person like me get to Fabled at the very least without much issues? Any tips? Advice? I'm on xbox and from the UK if that helps but this grind is eating away at my sanity. I need Fabled for Luna's Howl and the Recluse. I swear i see them in my nightmares taunting me!!

turn on team chat, watch the number of players when queuing to avoid full teams, learn the maps really well, learn spawns, only cap 2 zones in control and hold them, only plant with your full team, only super if you have advantage, and if all else fails teamshot with the meta bruther. This season has be especially sweaty but don't give up!

Here you go. Go into private matches to learn names of map locations, good for when you play in a team. That can help with map knowledge and then you can also practice jumps and how to travel around the map. Playing in the mornings can be easier than in the evenings. Using meta weapons and a strong offensive super definitely helps. If you cant find good people in LFG to play with, its probably because their skill level is better than yours (no offense meant), I also run into this issue. I have an approximate 1.2 KD and 1.7 KDA. I try to use solo matchmaking help me find friends. If you play a match and you like one or two people you played with, send them a "GG" good game, and ask if they would like to party up and play together. Why I think this is a good idea, Bungie matched you up with them, they probably have a similar skill level and are in a similar spot in grinding glory. Learn strategies for "Countdown", usually kill an enemy and rush the survivors. Don't arm the bomb unless you kill one of theirs first. Practice in Rumble or QP new weapons and supers. Probably common knowledge, If you are the only one with a super, that can be a great time to use yours. No one around to counter you easily with a super of their own. Also you start generating orbs for your team mates so they can get their supers going.
