The link above will sent you to part one. From there you can get caught up. Disclaimer I do not own any Bungie characters or planets. I only own my stories, the characters i create, and of course my guardian. Now let's begin!
Dredgen Slayer: (Heavy Breathing) I wasn't aiming for you
Malex: What? (turns around to see Diane holding her gut. Blood stained her lab coat.) Oh no. No no no!
Malex rushed forward and caught her before she fell
Diane: Malex? W...why? Why did he...
Malex: Shh, hey don't worry, I'm gonna get you out of here
Dredgen Slayer's ghost appeared and healed Dredgen Slayer while Malex was distracted
Dredgen Slayer: Thank you. I believe it is time to go
Dredgen's Ghost: What about the others?
Dredgen Slayer observed the other Dredgen Ghosts come out of hiding.
Dredgen Slayer: We leave them. They won't exist for much longer
He holstered The Thorn and walked off
Malex held Diane close
Malex: Hey, Diane, look at me. Don't fade out, keep looking at me
Diane: I...I don't think...
Malex: I know what you're about to say and don't even think it! I'm gonna get you out of here okay?
Diane nodded, she smiled and closed her eyes
Malex: No...
Diane was dead.
Malex: SLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!
The other Dredgens were revived by their ghosts. Poor suckers.
Malex ignited his Golden Gun and spun around. He fanned the hammer faster than he ever had in his life. 19 dredgens and 19 dredgen ghosts disintegrated into nothing but ash.
Dredgen Slayer calmly walked down the corridor, humming a tune as he went.
Slayer's Ghost: So fill me in. Why kill the girl?
Dredgen Slayer: It shows Malex he's not invincible
Slayer's Ghost: Huh?
Dredgen Slayer: It's like this ghost, when a gunslinger get's as good as he is, they feel invincible. Take that from them and you take their spirit.
Slayer's Ghost: Making them easier to deal with
Dredgen Slayer: And maybe even corrupt
A few hours later
Malex stood in front of Diane's grave. He had no idea what to say. Anna Bray walked up to him
Anna: Hey, you doing okay?
Malex: (Sighs) Quite frankly no. I told her I'd save her. Instead I let her get shot
Anna: No you didn't. I watched the feed, you did everything you could to save her. But every guardian has the one they couldn't save. Just learn from it and move on
Malex: Easier said than done
Anna Bray patted his shoulder and walked off
Malex: Peacemaker, would you please bring the ship around and set a course for home? I need a drink
Malex's floating companion appeared next to him
Peacemaker: Sure thing Malex
The two of them transmatted up to the ship.
Back at earth
Malex took a sip of his drink. He was sitting at a bar about a block away from the tower.
Malex: I don't know what happened, there I was gunslingin' away and the next thing I know she's dead
Elite-5: I don't know what to tell you man. These things happen, and they take time to heal from.
Elite-5 was an exo nightstalker friend of Malex. He wore full Prodigal armor and had his trusty Queenbreaker on his back. His faithful Show of Force sniper rifle was leaning up against the bar.
Malex: I know but, if I had been just a little bit faster I could've...
Elite-5: Don't go down that road bro. I've been there and it ain't pretty.
He took a sip of his drink
Malex: Okay seriously how do you exos eat and drink?
Elite-5: Man, even I don't know the answer to that
Malex: Aw, shoot. I'll drink to that
Elite-5: To Diane
Malex: To Diane
the glasses clink and the door bursts open
Stranger: Malex! I'm calling you out!
Malex spun his seat around. Sure enough there was a Hunter Dredgen in collector armor with his own Malfeasance
Malex: Get out of here kid, I ain't in the mood
He spun back around
Dredgen: No! You killed my friends! Draw you coward!
Elite-5: Oh, he should't have said that
Malex watched the kid in the mirror above the bar. The kid went for his gun. Malex spun around and fired
The kid fell and his ghost ran for the hills. Malex sighed and reloaded Last Word.
Elite-5: Man, remind me not to piss you off. I've never seen you draw so fast.
Malex: Dude we did escalation protocol last week
Elite-5: Oh yeah (chuckles) how could I forget. Tether plus Golden Gun equals a lot of dead thralls
Malex: I heard that (a bullet whizzes past his head) Son of a....!
Both guardians hit the deck and put their helmets on
Malex: Elite...
Elite-5: On it
He grabs his Show of Force and jumps up to the roof. Malex draws The Last Word and sighed
Malex: Well, here we go
He shoves open the door and charges for cover. Turns out there a lot more pissed of dredgens than that one kid. Peacemaker estimated forty. Malex radioed Elite
Malex: Hey Elite where's my cover fire?
Three dredgens fall from a roof
Elite: Right there jerk
Malex: Okay geez I was just askin. Sight em up bro
Elite-5: You got five coming up behind you now
Malex spun and fired, five dredgens fell
Malex: I think you're mistaken, I don't see anything
Elite-5: Shut up
Malex: Make me
A bullet landed at Malex's feet
Malex: Okay I'll shut up
Elite-5: Good
Over the next half hour the two fought. Elite's sniper skills were on point, nobody survived his Queenbreaker. Down on the ground The Last Word was speaking, and loudly. Malex had full mastery of his cannon, downing one dredgen after another. Four Titans popped their supers and charged at Malex. Elite-5 saw them. He pulled back his shadow-shot bow, and placed an arrow right in the middle of them. The tether snared all four of them.
Elite: There you go Malex, even gift wrapped em
Malex strolled over to the ensnared titans
Malex: Howdy fellas
He placed a thermite grenade on the ground between them
Malex: Ill be seeing ya
He walked off
Dredgen: Son of a... (explosion)
Malex jumped at a warlock and sunk a knife into his neck. He jumped off his back and did a backflip. In mid-air he threw two knives and killed two dredgens. He double jumped and drew Last Word. Before he landed eight dredgens fell. Six hunter dredgens charged at him, six Golden Gun shots later six hunters were piles of ash. Malex looked around the battlefield
Malex: Hey Elite is that all of them?
Elite-5: I think so man
A Titan shoulder charged Malex and sent him through a wall. Peacemaker brought him back and quickly disappeared into his pack. Malex stood up and
rubbed his head
Malex: What was that?
The Titan tackled him and pinned him to a wall. He pulled back his fist and arc energy crackled around it. Malex put his boot on the titans chestplate and pushed. The Titan fell on his back. Malex put his boot on his gunhand and snatched his Malfeasance from him. He aimed it at the Titans head
Titan: Feels good doesn't it?
Malex: What?
Titan: That gun. The Darkness. Feels good doesn't it? Go ahead pull the trigger
Malex: ...
Titan: Nothing to say? Well maybe if you had embraced the darkness, you could've saved Diane
Malex: (pulls hammer back) Don't. Say. Her. Name.
Titan: Oh aren't we angry? Go ahead, pull the trigger. Feel the power
Malex looked at the gun in his left hand
Elite-5 jumped down and a crowd had begun to gather
Elite-5: Malex?
Peacemaker: Malex, don't even think it
Titan: Do it
Malex could hear the whispers in his head. It was Diane, asking him to save her
But The Last Word was in his right hand
Malex: No
Malex threw the Malfeasance aside and the whispers ceased
Titan: What!?
Malex raised the last word and pulled the hammer back
Malex: That wasn't the first time I've heard whispers, and it may not be the last. But each time I silenced them and I always will. Wherever darkness looms, wherever shadows walk, I'll be there. And I WILL LIGHT THE WAY!!!
Malex ignited his Golden Gun
Malex: But you won't
He pulled the trigger.
Meanwhile, on Mars
A ghost floated past Diane's grave. She almost passed right by it but stopped herself. She turned and scanned the grave.
Ghost: Interesting. Yes, I believe you'll do nicely

Malex, may I kindly ask you add punctuation to the end of every line? It’s a bit awkward to see the lack of punctuation.

Well well well well well. The plot thickens indeed.
