Hi guys I would really love if someone could help me understand the mechanics of Gambit Prime a little better. In particular: 1) Completing more than one armour set Tier 1 and Tier 2. Is it possible? I am asking this because I would like to collect all the armour pieces of each tier for my warlock, but how is that possible considering the weekly prime bounties are the only way to collect the helmets and that after completing the first one your synthetizer will be upgraded and therefore forcing you to only be able to craft tier 2 helmets in the Reckoning (the motes have to be of the higher quality you can do), if other bounties are followed? is there a way to collect them all? 2) The point of all this. I cannot see it. If the answer to the previous question is no, then what's the point in taking the tier 1 armour, considering that after the first week there is already tier 2 Reckoning? Why not wait till tier 3 is unlocked and just don't bother? Am I missing something? It at least looks strange to create a set of armour that is completely useless and for just a week. Help a fellow collector guardian out, my ocd of having to complete everything is driving me nuts.
Yes, it's possible to complete more than one armor set. Upgraded synthesizers can still make weak motes. The point is that some players don't have the time to upgrade their power to the new recommended level for the higher tiers of Reckoning. You can still unlock the higher perks on lower armor sets by consuming your synths rather than converting them into motes for the Reckoning. This isn't as efficient as simply having the better armor, though, so there's incentive to upgrade the armor if you can.
