I understand that for the majority of players Banshee's functionality is a non-issue and I suppose if I play long enough it will be for me too. As it is now, Banshee stinks.
I like to play pve, I like to play alts, and I also like to try new builds when I receive new exotics, or just based on whim.
AFAIK it's been at least 2 weeks since Banshee last had impact mods. We just had 4 days of super mods, 2 days of recovery mods (?) and I at this point I'm anticipating that the rest of the week is a steady stream of similarly pvp-centric mods (super/resilience/mobility/recovery).
At some point I would like to make a build for melting point and also for the Sunbracers exotic. Having to consider handing over my account info to a friend because I might be unable to log in on the one day impact mods show is just sad.
My suggestion would be to have him have the full compliment of mods available daily, with the exception of a few mods that are randomly "sold out" (to keep the RNG factor). Or have all mods available all the time for 15-20 components and have daily specials for 10 components.

It's weird how we can so easily come up with good ideas to rework vendors, butn bungie doesnt do it. its even weirder when the vendors used to work a certain way and now dont do anything. I mean, remember Banshee had bounties? maybe he doesnt need gun bounties, but he should have bounties for us to grind for mods or even mod components. The drop rate for those are worse than enhancement cores. I know people at bungie are smart, so can they please put their brain ot use for once?
