The Niobe labs puzzle would have been fine if all the forges had been released day 1 of Black Armory. It would have given the average player something to do right from the get go, and the elite (I use that term lightly) players would have been hard at work on this ridiculous puzzle while the rest of us were still working on the other three forges. Instead, Bungie feels they need to time gate and drip feed every little piece of content, essentially starving its playerbase for something new to do. Then they release the new thing with the surprise of, "Just kidding, 99% of you have absolutely no chance of ever figuring this out."

They had to drip feed it because that's all this is....little bits of content.

15 отв.Who -blam!-ing cares it was pretty obvious it would be found or opened in 24 hours anyway. Wow you had to wait a damn day to do a forge. Cry me a damn river.

Actually I think Bungie want to repeat the success from the raid Last Wish and see how players could tolerate their puzzle setting . In fact, not everyone here are Sherlock Holmes to look into the lore details and solve this puzzle. Most of the players are just waiting for someone to decrypt the game and put it on youtube for them. When they see their hope (the streamers) have failed they lost their hope at the same time and getting impatient and anger.

2 отв.the biggest problem is this is not a community puzzle. it is a puzzle for a select few players, that the rest will have little chance to progress through or enjoy once the once team completes it. There are few steps with a very steep cypher unlock. Outbreak prime was a great community puzzle because people could participate, there was many many little peices to it that contributed to progress over the 35 hours it took to solve. We could watch progress being made all the time. Here with Niobe, we have little progress, lots of "lets try this" but, there is no puzzle being put together here with little peices from a vast community. Trial and error from a select few that we are encouraged to watch, and not to participate.

13 отв.Honestly this current set up works fine. Rather than waiting months for a big drop doing it in a few weeks and leaving again. you can wait a week and play more consistently.

19 отв.No. This puzzle should have been used for a raid exotic quest. This was a disastrous idea for what they are using it for.

5 отв.I fully agree with this assesment but I think why they did not want to release it all as one big content drop is that there is not enough substance to the content. There is plenty to do but not a whole lot of variety and it would be alot more obvious if we got it all at once.
