I don’t understand why it isn’t possible to have at least one game mode that has Skill Based matchmaking. Why doesn’t Rumble have SBMM? At times [i]there isnt even a point of trying[/i] to win a match because your paired against Diamond, Master level players as a -blam!-ing silver. Thats not even remotely enjoyable for me and I cant imagine stomping a bunch of low-tier players is very enjoyable for sweaty high level players either [b](Except to fulfill the Power-Fantasy portion of their day)[/b] I understand SBMM makes Quickplay and such unplayable, and I’m fine with CBMM because I can go in with friends and actually get some enjoyment out of the silliness. When you require me to play Rumble matches (which dont allow fireteams btw) for a quest against thats matching me against players with [b]Not Forgotten[/b], it quickly becomes “Who can get 2nd place, Who can get 3rd place,” ect. Skill Based Matchmaking DOES have a place in Destiny 2: its Rumble.
