I just recently was made aware that supposedly Blink no longer has invincibility frames? Why even use it beyond moving quickly, first fusion grenades don't one hit while attached to a target and now this? If that's the case then it's a mediocre mode of moving about the battlefield. I know Nova warp isn't in a good place but I've mained voidlock since year 1 destiny 1 and it just feels useless. If it can't keep the I-frames at least make it jump farther and higher

Изменено (Broken): 11/12/2018 2:38:49 PMHere's my take on it. Nova class "blink" should be made into a class ability. Similar to hunter dodge. No need for rift on every class. Keep all 3 jumps across all classes. I guess I just really really hate rifts.

I mean yeah blink was great d1, but it takes some skill to pull off effectively now in D2. I use it and I like it in PvP. A blinking lock with Luna or that can effectively blink into a blind spot terrifies people.

Blink was always useless

It's a jump override ability that has a delay, cooldown, and no compensation for both of those factors. I can dig it. Speed up activation, remove the cooldown after 2 rapid blinks, and slightly stretch the distance it moves you. No i-frames needed, no other jump gives i-frames.
-
It's so impractical that's it's problem now
-
Agreed it needs a activation speed buff, and it needs to fix the issue where it counts you on the ground until you fully teleport, I can dodge rockets/Grenades and nova bombs/thundercrash most of the time, but the activation on blade barrage is so absurdly fast and the area it covers is so absurdly big that it’s impossible to not die

They buffed blink when Forsaken came out and it’s an incredible jump. What thee jump could avoid most of not all the supers in the game? It’s impossible to catch up to a blinking warlock in a melee super and the amount of times I have meleed a wlarock as they blink and it wiffs 9 times out of 10. Keep in mind, it is a JUMP ability lol.

It’s the fact that you take so long to ready ur gun that’s trash. If you are on a flat surface and blink you LITERALLY have to wait till u hit the floor again to shoot. You should be able to shoot almost instantly. it’s not like blink range is RNG, people can just predict where the blink will end and shoot you right when you come out.
-
It shouldn't have I-frames, tbh.
-
Blink isn't actually all too bad. It's really the only jump that can double as a gap closer and as a dodge. I've seen people use it to close gaps in mere moments that I wouldn't ever see from another class. If you time it right, which you probably already know, you will go forward instead of up, making it close dome very good distance in a short time. It's a jump that could potentially be op, and that's weird to say, but in the right hands it can be devastatingin PvP. In PvP, blink is pretty much worthless, like catapult.

Remember when hunters had blink? I do
-
It doesn't need a cooldown in PvE that's for damn sure.
-
You feel useless in nova warp? Sorry but “git gud”. Its true regular blink sucks but its still better than any other warlock jump
-
You have no idea what you are talking about.

It never had them.....
