It seems like d2's armour took an entirely different direction from d1. In d1 hunters were like space outlaws and alpt of their armour seemed worn. In d2 bungie made them out to be space ninjas. The same is also true for the Titan and warlock. Titans are just hulking big dudes with huge ass shoulders for some reason but it destiny 1 they were more like space soldiers rather than space football players. For the warlock in d1 most of the coats we're coats and looked cool as -blam!- but in d2 coats for the warlocks are more like dresses or robes. What I'm trying to get at is the armour in d2 is more fantasy rather than the sci fi style I fell in love with in destiny 1. Now on to guns in destiny 1 I remember feeling the power from almost every gun I used and almost every gun had a lot of detail and looked like a gun. In destiny 2 on the other hand a lot of guns I use feel like toys to me and also look like it to. An example would be the sidearms added in forsaken they look water guns and they even have the little screws on the top like a water gun. Another odd design is the tigerspite while it is a good Auto rifle the design isn't rustic or gun like. It's just a wood plank with a handle and a sight. Now Im not saying I hate destiny 2's amour because some of it looks cool but destiny 1's aestheitc for guns and armour we're what made we want to play it, but in d2 im just scraping for d1 style armour and I'm only grinding for that armour. I know this sounds like a rant but I just miss the aesthetic d1 had and I and many others want bungie to return to that more in destiny 2. In the video I linked around 44 mins they talk about armour and show off some concepts and that is pretty much what I feel destiny should return to.
