The ghost needs to stay quiet for the most part of the game. To the devs: youve made an amazing game this time around but let our guardian do the talking. Its OUR gaurdian taking action in the gun fights and dying over and over again. I wanna hear his view on things. Nine words is not enough (total dialogue of gaurdian in forsaken). I wanna hear HIM/HER argue against other npcs such as the ghosts. The ghost does not represent our gaurdian. Personally my guardian is, as Ana Bray put it, uptight. Please fix this or ill be less encouraged to continue my journey in destiny 3.

As you said it's OUR guardian. for me at least hearing my Exo character speaking in a gruff voice kinda ruins it. It makes it feel more like I'm reading a book about the adventures of somebody else than playing a rpg making my own story. Just my two cents.
-
You should make this a poll. I personally think there needs to be a balance between our guardian talking and ghost. It annoyed me when we didn't say anything as Cayde was dying. It just struck me as incredibly detached and stonewalled that our guardian couldn't even spare a few words. Also I appreciate that we do speak, but I don't want my guardian to sound like a master chief rip off, just have the same voice actor from the first game.

This is not rockstar mate, but Bungie. Did you ever got to a club and look at that hot girl dressed sexy in the strobe lights? But you would give everything to never wake up next to in the morning? Bungie is this girl. Now think again, can this girl be good looking in he light and when sober? Nope.

I can’t stand our ghost. He is such a blithering idiot. I won’t go into too much detail because of spoilers but voice lines have been leaked recently and one of them is an interaction between our ghost and Mara Sov and lets just say he may have insulted and irritated the one who has helped everything we know survive.
-
That's only because we have one of the talkative, feisty ghosts....

The ghost just needs to be voiced by David Attenborough! Lol

I feel like ghost is great. Considering he basically narrates and carries the entire game. Nolan does a fantastic job. Just my two cents.
-
It’s needs to be a balance. After Cortana and chief, idk how they didn’t get the balance right. Halo had it perfect.
-
Please give us failsafe for our ghost
-
There is a mute option
-
The initial release had it perfect. I always think back to the scene where you get your ship, and when you first get your ghost in general.
-
well give my gaurdain a voice all game long and the ghost can go to sleep and i would be happy
-
I agree with you that we don't talk enough, I was extremely disapointed when Petra showed up when we had Uldren at gunpoint. I was so ready to hear my character be angry and vent to Uldren on why he was wrong for killing Cayde; But Petra shows up handles the dialogue for us, and possibly even the gunshot.
-
he has been quiet for a while for me idk i haven't heard any of his quips for a while
-
I hate my Ghost. I wish the little &^%$ would embrace the Praxic Fire.
-
It doesn't help that the ghost is a complete p$%$y and never represent how i feel or how i react. Plus he's always calling for Zavala, and i hate Zavala(it should have been you Zavala)
-
I can not stand our ghost most of the time. because it acts like a whiney little b;tch. I want an emote where you slap the living sh;t out of the ghost and tell it to stfu.
-
The only way I want my ghost to give me play by play commentary is if you bring back the Dinklage to do the voice acting. Peter Dink or nothing.
-
I don’t see why everyone hates Nolan, he reads the script that’s given to him...blame. The. Writing. The writing in destiny isn’t very strong (lore tidbits excluded) so I don’t understand how this is still a topic of discussion. Peter D wasn’t even given good lines to read off of like come on now
-
Hey, at least he has no sense of humor now.
-
I wish it were possible to maim the ghost and remove its ability to speak. Like I literally just want a slave ghost that revives me and facilitates my use of the light. I don’t care about his shitty morales
-
I really dont care if my dude says anything. But they really need to can the ghost goody two shoes thing. Tone it down a little... Its like a robotic mickey mouse.
-
All I know is when my guardian spoke the first time in forever, I was taken back by how his voice was not the same voice actor that did him in Destiny 1, mine was a Male Exo Hunter, I'm not sure how many different voices there were in Destiny 1 for player character if based on Race, Sex, and if Class was a determining factor ….all I know was like "That's not my character's voice..." and semi cringed

Overall I don’t mind the ghost being a mouthpiece for our guardian. But the part where we’re alone in the wild without light at the beginning of the game would’ve benefited from less ghost dialogue.
-
Ya the ghost drives me crazy... I legitimately hate every scene where that bitch loses his mind and goes to hide in my ass cheeks (I’m assuming that’s where he goes) the second we start to shoot shit. Less ghost, more guardian 100%...
