Out of all of the Exotics the Warlocks have, the WoSD are probably one of the more forgettable ones. With it's Exotic perk being able to temporarily freeze you in midair while aiming down the sights (think of D1's Angel of Light) and having critical hits extend its duration, it does have niche uses in PvP and PvE. However, is that enough to use it over other exotics? Maybe in PvP, but in PvE it doesn't feel exotic enough. So, why not make it an Exotic (better) geared towards Dawnblade's Attunement of Sky? There's a few ideas that we could go off of, some of which can be combined with Tome of Dawn (the current perk) or just replace it. You are more than welcome to agree or disagree with any or all of these, as I'm not claiming to be an expert on balance. Regardless, here's my ideas: [b]Idea 1:[/b] [u]Have it slightly reduce the cooldown of Icarus Dash.[/u] With a decrease in Icarus Dash's cooldown, Warlocks can now be much more agile overall both in PvE and PvP. If combined with Tome of Dawn, it would allow Warlocks to quickly get teh drop on an enemy and give them an overall advantage in a 1v1. [b]Idea 2:[/b] [u]Increase the accuracy of Winged Sun.[/u] Since Winged Sun decreases your accuracy while in the air, allowing WoSD to reduce that penalty (completely removing the debuff might be too much) would allow Warlocks to fight better in the air which could lead to more fun and strategic engagements. [b]Ideas 3:[/b] [u]Increase duration and/or air movement of Glide.[/u] By allowing Glide to have better air control and last longer, Warlocks can fight extended fights in the air and use it to disorientate enemies. So, what are your thoughts on these ideas? Any of them sound good? Is WoSD already good enough? Any constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
