BUFFALO error PC

Been getting BUFFALO errors on PC during gameplay for months. I can log in fine, but the game will surely at some point disconnect in the middle of strikes, raids, crucible/trials matches, etc. with the error message. This is particularly frustrating with regard to crucible/trials matches as there is no way to reconnect to the same match. I have been watching the forums and followed the network troubleshooting guides and nothing has resolved this issue. All the troubleshooting steps regarding BUFFALO refer to either multiple PCs on the same network with Destiny 2 or not being signed in with their platform account / platform maintenance, but I hope the team is aware that the issue is actually larger than that, at least on PC. Blizzard support refers customers with BUFFALO errors on their forum back to Bungie, as they say the error code has nothing to do with Battle.Net services. I am hardwired into a brand new Netgear Nighthawk R7000p router with the latest firmware. I am not losing connection to my ISP or connection to the Battle.Net client when this happens and disconnections don't occur with other online services on my network, including games. It is specific to Destiny 2. There is only one PC on the network playing Destiny 2 at all times and in the accessibility menu in-game, it reports my NAT as open. Also, I have tried all of the following with no improvement: -Enabling UPnp / Forwarding all designated ports -Disabling all firewall / antivirus -Deleting the CVARS file -Scan and repairing game files via Battle.Net client (no errors found) -Contacting my ISP (Spectrum / TWC in New York) to monitor modem / signal activity. (no packet loss or instability found)
