A fan letter to Bungie, to who it may concern. I’ve been wanting to write to you all for a while now. Please read and consider the ideas I have to share with you like I’m a member of the team. Hello, My name is Timothy Nunn. My B.Net ID is Sgt.1seven and PS ID: Sucka-Free_. Former leader of a clan named Wise Men. I have made some suggestion to the many forums you have within bungie.net in the past and decided to wait a while to write more till I see how Destiny 2 plays out. You have a great game here in Destiny that many of us have given so many hours to, we care very much about where the story is leading us. I again have more suggestions and wanted to share them with you! but first and briefly, I wanted to share that as a young gamer I too wanted to be a game designer. in fact, in the years of Halo, I had a very similar game to Destiny in mind. In a way I feel so much have change and now Im a stay at home dad. The Idea that I’ll get to make my dreams come true is fading fast. So if you would let this middle age Idealist help we can do more together. Please. First thing is people are constantly telling me Destiny’s losing players. I know your working hard on this and doing well to keep us informed. That being said Note that most my ideas may be useable in destiny 3. ( if you’d wait that long to use them ) Now let just get in to it and start big huh! So the story is about our Guardian Right? But there’s lots of us.. We all have made some great accomplishment, but some greater than most. I think its time to reward the Guardians! Have some long quests involving our guardians to hunt for parts and rare, legendary, exotic materials to bring to Banshee 44, Holliday, Saladin etc to forge or create a weapon, armor pieces, ships & sparrows of our own design! (Allowing us to place a quote on it of course) you may fill the blanks. A new app would be nice to help with these forges. Allowing guardians to play destiny in a different way but still related (like the crucible is to training) but away from the console. In game contests! Map building is a favorite thing for me to do in Far Cry Games, the contest could come in with a time limit of course. I thought this would be available in game somewhat (if you’d liked long quest idea.) The idea of map building would be to have fans help build the world you’d like to create, DeeJ would announces the theme and settings (say Earth Europe’s hole) time when it starts/done (say 30 days) a new creation page designed for map building, and the winner gets their map playable in the game. All rights to Bungie.( You take the maps, buff them out and use them) all while keeping and getting the fans involved! WIN!! This is the Next level stuff the gaming world is missing.
